Guangdong aims to shoulder greater responsibilities at the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan period
TimesNewswire / March 13, 2026 – On the afternoon of March 6, 2026, the Guangdong provincial delegation held an open meeting during the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress in Beijing. The event drew 277 journalists from 111 media outlets, including 61 foreign organizations. Reporters asked questions actively; delegates answering included Huang Kunming, Secretary of the CPC Guangdong Committee, and Meng Fanli, Governor of Guangdong. The meeting was chaired by Huang Chuping, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial People’s Congress.

A Xinhua News Agency reporter noted that during his inspection of Guangdong in November 2025, Chinese President Xi Jinping gave guidance for the province’s scientific planning for the 15th Five-Year Plan period, encouraging Guangdong to take the national lead, set an example for the country, and shoulder greater responsibilities. The reporter asked about Guangdong’s implementation plans. Huang Kunming outlined the province’s vision and key priorities for the year in four areas: “strengthening the two cornerstones of industry and technology,” “advancing reform and opening up while adhering to the mass line,” “expanding into county-level areas and the maritime domain,” and “energizing the two main drivers of enterprises and talent.”
Huang Kunming said Guangdong has vigorously promoted the mutual reinforcement of industry and technology in recent years, leading to the province’s top ranking in regional innovation capability for nine consecutive years. The nine mainland cities in the Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area saw foreign trade imports and exports rise 4.4% despite headwinds, and actual use of foreign capital increase 11.3%. “Guangdong‑made products” perform strongly across China and overseas, injecting momentum into the province’s high‑quality development. As Guangdong begins the crucial stage of the 15th Five‑Year Plan period, it aims to cultivate more industrial clusters worth hundreds of billions or trillions of yuan in emerging fields such as 6G, the low‑altitude economy, embodied artificial intelligence, and quantum technology. Huang Kunming extended a warm invitation to media professionals to visit Guangdong, explore its strengths, enjoy its cuisine, and experience the charm of the Lingnan region.
Huang Kunming proactively invited journalists from Macau to ask questions. A reporter from Macau Global Chinese Business News asked what message he had for the Macau press. Huang Kunming said that after years of close collaboration with Macau, both the “hardware and software” foundations have become increasingly mature. Guangdong offers numerous advantages, significant opportunities, and broad space for growth. He welcomed insightful people from all sectors in Macau—especially young people—to come to Hengqin to start or expand businesses or to work.
Responding to a question from a China Media Group reporter, Governor Meng Fanli noted that Guangdong has the largest manufacturing sector in China. During the 15th Five‑Year Plan period, Guangdong will prioritize accelerating high‑quality development of the service sector as a key task in advancing industrial and economic upgrading. The focus will be on “advancing six key dimensions and fostering a robust industrial ecosystem.” The six dimensions are integration, high‑end advancement, digital intelligence, green development, internationalization, and diversification. At the same time, the province will cultivate an industrial ecosystem that supports healthy, rapid growth in services, increase investment in service industries, and build world‑class industrial parks alongside diverse online and offline platforms and carriers.
At the 1.5‑hour interactive session, journalists repeatedly raised questions on hot topics about Guangdong’s development. Delegates responded directly and candidly, sharing their experiences in office and outlining future plans, conveying determination and confidence in advancing during the 15th Five‑Year Plan from multiple perspectives.

Braintrust Advances Neuroscience-Backed Approach to B2B Sales Performance
U.S. sales organizations increasingly look beyond traditional training as Braintrust brings neuroscience, buyer psychology, and behavioral practice together through NeuroSelling
United States, 30th Sep 2026 — Braintrust is advancing a neuroscience-informed approach to B2B sales performance, helping enterprise organizations strengthen how sales professionals understand buyers, communicate value, and apply effective behaviors in complex selling environments. At the center of this approach is NeuroSelling, a sales methodology that combines neuroscience, buyer psychology, communication, behavioral change, practice, and reinforcement to support more consistent sales performance.
As enterprise sales environments become increasingly complex, organizations are placing greater emphasis on the human factors that influence purchasing decisions. Sales professionals must navigate multiple stakeholders, changing priorities, longer buying cycles, and increasingly informed buyers. Braintrust’s approach addresses these challenges by connecting the science of how people think and make decisions with practical sales behaviors that teams can develop and reinforce.
Through its neuroscience-backed B2B sales training, Braintrust focuses on helping sales teams understand what happens during buyer interactions and how that knowledge can translate into more effective conversations. Rather than treating sales training as a one-time event, the company’s methodology incorporates practice and reinforcement designed to help participants turn concepts into repeatable behaviors.
The approach brings together neuroscience and buyer psychology with consultative selling principles, communication techniques, and behavioral sales training. This combination is intended to help sales professionals better recognize buyer needs, engage stakeholders more effectively, and adapt their communication to different decision-making situations.
Braintrust’s work has been applied across a range of organizations and leadership teams. The company reports having worked with more than 100 organizations and 1,000 leaders, with client satisfaction exceeding 98%. Braintrust also reports that its work has influenced more than $1 billion in revenue.
These results reflect a broader focus on sales effectiveness and sales enablement: helping organizations build capabilities that extend beyond individual sales techniques. By incorporating deliberate practice and reinforcement into development programs, Braintrust aims to make behavioral change a sustained part of sales performance rather than a temporary outcome of classroom instruction.
NeuroSelling and the Science Behind Sales Behavior
NeuroSelling provides the foundation for Braintrust’s approach to understanding sales interactions through the lens of neuroscience and human behavior. The methodology examines how buyers process information, evaluate risk, build trust, and make decisions, while connecting those insights to the behaviors sales professionals use throughout the buying journey.
For enterprise sales teams, this perspective can be particularly relevant when purchasing decisions involve multiple stakeholders and significant business considerations. Sales professionals can use principles related to buyer psychology and communication to create more productive conversations and respond to the ways different buyers evaluate solutions.
The methodology also emphasizes practice. Sales professionals have opportunities to apply concepts, develop communication skills, and reinforce behaviors in realistic situations. This practice-oriented approach is designed to support sales effectiveness by moving training from theoretical knowledge toward practical application.
Building a Broader Sales Performance Ecosystem
While NeuroSelling remains central to Braintrust’s B2B sales performance approach, the company is also developing a broader ecosystem that includes NeuroCoaching and AI-enabled sales practice.
These capabilities extend the same emphasis on neuroscience, behavioral change, leadership development, and practical application into additional areas of professional development. NeuroCoaching supports the leadership and coaching dimension of sales performance, while AI-enabled practice provides another avenue for sales professionals to rehearse and strengthen their skills.
The broader ecosystem establishes a foundation for organizations seeking to connect sales training with ongoing coaching, leadership development, and technology-enabled practice. For sales leaders, this creates opportunities to reinforce behaviors after formal training and support continuous development across teams.
Braintrust’s approach is designed around the principle that improving sales performance requires more than delivering information. Effective development can involve understanding how buyers think, practicing how sales professionals communicate, reinforcing desired behaviors, and creating an environment where those behaviors can become part of everyday selling.
As U.S. companies continue to invest in sales enablement and organizational development, Braintrust is positioning NeuroSelling as the foundation of an approach that connects neuroscience with the practical realities of modern B2B selling.
For organizations evaluating SaaS sales training, software sales training, and other technology-focused sales development needs, the same principles can be applied to environments where complex products, multiple stakeholders, and evolving buyer expectations shape the sales process.
Braintrust’s work ultimately centers on a straightforward objective: helping sales organizations understand the science behind human decision-making and translate that understanding into practical behaviors that can be practiced, reinforced, and developed over time.

Way.com Introduces Mileage Tracker App to Simplify Work-Related Mileage Management
United States, 30th Sep 2026 — Way.com has introduced its Mileage Tracker App, a digital solution designed to help freelancers, self-employed professionals, independent contractors, and businesses manage work-related mileage and maintain organised travel records throughout the year. By bringing mileage logging and calculation tools together in one platform, the solution provides a convenient approach to documenting business travel and estimating related mileage expenses.
Keeping track of work-related journeys can become a time-consuming task for professionals who regularly use their vehicles for business purposes. Instead of relying on paper records or manually organising trip information, users can use a Mileage Tracker to maintain digital mileage records and keep their business travel information organised.
Way.com’s Mileage Tracking App is designed around the practical needs of professionals who need to record journeys and calculate mileage associated with work. The platform provides a centralised way to manage mileage information, making it easier to maintain a digital business mileage log and review travel records when needed.
For freelancers and self-employed professionals, consistent recordkeeping can be an important part of managing work expenses. The Mileage Tracker for freelancers and Mileage tracker for self-employed professionals provides a dedicated way to organise work-related travel information throughout the year. Independent contractors can similarly use the platform as an independent contractor mileage tracker to keep mileage records together with other business-related information.
Businesses can also use the platform to support their mileage management processes. A Business Mileage Tracker can help organisations maintain digital records of work-related journeys, while mileage calculation tools can assist with estimating travel-related expenses. This makes the platform relevant to professionals and small businesses looking for an easy mileage tracking solution.
The platform also incorporates calculation functionality to help users work with mileage-related figures. A Mileage Rate Calculator can support users when estimating mileage expenses based on applicable mileage rates, while a mileage expense calculator can provide another practical resource for reviewing business travel costs. These tools can be useful when organising information for expense management and tax-season preparation.
The Best Mileage Tracker App for any individual or business ultimately depends on its specific recordkeeping needs, but Way.com’s Mileage Tracker is positioned as a convenient digital option for professionals seeking a central place to manage work-related mileage. Its focus on mileage logging and calculation brings key mileage-management functions together rather than requiring users to maintain separate records and calculations.
For professionals who regularly travel for work, maintaining accurate information throughout the year can make mileage recordkeeping more organised. A work mileage tracker, business mileage log, or trip mileage tracker can provide a structured approach to documenting business travel, while a mileage tracker for taxes can help users keep their mileage information organised when preparing for tax season.
Way.com’s Mileage Tracker App reflects a broader shift toward digital tools for everyday business expense management. By providing mileage tracking and calculation capabilities within one platform, the solution aims to make mileage tracking made simple for freelancers, independent contractors, self-employed professionals, and businesses across the United States.
The Mileage Tracker is available through Way.com for users seeking a digital mileage recordkeeping solution for work-related travel and business mileage management.

Video Production Hong Kong Guide 2026
Hong Kong S.A.R., 30th Sep 2026 – Hong Kong has always been a fast city. People here judge restaurants, products and brand videos in seconds. Attention is short and competition for it is intense, so demand for video production in Hong Kong has grown. Budgets that used to go to print ads and static banners are moving into brand films, social content and TV commercials.
But most of that video fails. It gets skipped, muted or scrolled past. Whether a video converts or disappears usually depends on decisions made before filming starts.

From “Having Video” to “Having a Video Strategy”
A few years ago, just having a video on your homepage made you stand out. Now everyone has one. Hong Kong viewers see hundreds of videos a day on the MTR, in lifts, and on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. The brands that win attention don’t always spend more. They think differently about three things:
1. Story comes first. Viewers don’t remember drone shots. They remember how a video made them feel. The strongest brand videos in Hong Kong right now use simple, human stories: a craftsman’s hands, a customer’s change, a moment behind the scenes.
2. Get many assets from one shoot. Smart marketers plan one shoot day to produce a main brand film, a 30-second YouTube ad, vertical edits for Reels and Shorts, and stills for display ads. This can cut the cost per asset by more than half.
3. Plan distribution from day one. Without a plan to get it seen, a video is just an expensive file on a hard drive. Decide where it will live, who will see it and what they should do next in the first production meeting, not the last.
Why Local Production Still Matters
International brands entering Hong Kong often learn that content made elsewhere rarely works here. Hong Kong viewers have their own visual style and cultural rhythm: the pace of local TV ads, bilingual wordplay, local humour, and neighbourhoods that feel real.
A production house based in Hong Kong brings more than cameras. It has local talent networks, knows which locations need permits, has crews who work in Cantonese and English, and knows what appeals to both local and international viewers. That’s very hard to copy from overseas.
What Professional Production Looks Like
Brands used to working with freelancers are often surprised by a full-service studio’s process. A professional production usually has five stages:
- Discovery: learning about the brand, the audience and the business goal the video needs to meet
- Concept and strategy: writing the script, drawing storyboards and planning the shoot around where the video will run
- Production: the shoot, with professional direction, lighting and sound
- Post-production: editing, colour grading, sound design and motion graphics
- Onboarding and deployment: delivering versions sized for each platform, plus a plan to put them to work
Many studios stop before the last stage. The best ones don’t, and that’s what sets them apart.
A Studio That Sets the Standard
For a real example, look at Good Good Creative, a Hong Kong video production company based in Kwun Tong. Its clients include Cathay Pacific, Mastercard x OpenRice, Ngong Ping 360, Longchamp and the Employees Retraining Board (for public campaigns). Its work covers TV commercials, corporate video, online content and event production.
If you’re comparing studios, it helps to see how they structure their work. Every project goes through all five stages above and ends with onboarding, which focuses on getting the video in front of the right audience. It’s a good benchmark for what “full service” should mean when you judge any production partner.
The Question That Matters Most
When you brief a studio, don’t start with “we need a video.” Start with “we need viewers to do something”: book a table, trust a brand, apply for a scheme, visit a store. Good studios will push you on this, because a beautiful video with no goal is just expensive decoration.
Hong Kong viewers are watching. What matters is whether your brand’s video is worth their first three seconds, and whether it earns the next thirty.
