Augusta Tops Best Gold IRA Companies List By Gold Advisor

Published

on

Miami, USA, June 28th, 2026, FinanceWire

Gold Advisor, a leading educational resource focused on precious metals investing and retirement diversification, has released its annual rankings of the Best Gold IRA Companies for 2026, naming Augusta Precious Metals as the organization’s Best Overall Gold IRA Company following an extensive evaluation of leading providers serving retirement investors nationwide.

The rankings come as interest in Gold IRAs continues to rise among investors seeking diversification beyond traditional stocks and bonds amid ongoing concerns about inflation, government debt, market volatility, and long-term retirement planning challenges.

Gold Advisor’s research team reviewed numerous precious metals IRA providers using a methodology designed to evaluate the factors most important to retirement investors. The review process considered company reputation, customer satisfaction, years in business, educational resources, account setup assistance, rollover support, buyback programs, transparency, precious metals selection, and overall customer experience.

Best Gold IRA Companies of 2026

  1. Augusta Precious Metals – Best Overall Gold IRA Company
  2. Goldco – Best for 401(k) Rollovers
  3. American Hartford Gold – Best for Precious Metals Selection

According to Gold Advisor, Augusta Precious Metals distinguished itself by delivering strong performance across virtually every major category evaluated during the review process.

Augusta Award Highlights

In addition to earning the top overall ranking, Augusta Precious Metals received recognition in several key categories:

  • Best Overall Gold IRA Company.
  • Best for Investor Education.
  • Best for Retirement Rollovers.
  • Best Reputation.
  • Best Gold IRA Onboarding Experience.

Researchers noted that Augusta’s strength stems from its ability to provide a highly guided experience for retirement investors while maintaining a strong reputation within the precious metals industry.

Among the factors cited in Augusta’s top ranking were:

  • Extensive experience assisting investors with retirement account rollovers.
  • Educational resources designed for both new and experienced investors.
  • Streamlined account setup and rollover processes.
  • Dedicated account representatives.
  • Strong customer review profiles across multiple platforms.
  • Transparent educational approach to precious metals ownership.
  • Ongoing support throughout the life of the account.
  • Established relationships within the self-directed IRA ecosystem.

“Many investors exploring Gold IRAs are doing so for the first time and often have questions about rollovers, storage options, IRS rules, and eligible precious metals,” said a spokesperson for Gold Advisor. “The companies that stand out are typically those that make the process easier to understand while providing strong support throughout the account setup process. Augusta consistently performed well across the categories we believe matter most to retirement investors.”

Why Investors Continue to Explore Gold IRAs

Gold IRAs have become an increasingly popular retirement diversification strategy over the past decade.

Unlike traditional retirement accounts that may primarily hold stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or ETFs, a self-directed Gold IRA allows investors to hold certain IRS-approved physical precious metals within a tax-advantaged retirement account structure.

Supporters of Gold IRAs often point to several potential benefits:

  • Diversification beyond traditional financial assets.
  • Potential protection against inflation.
  • Reduced dependence on stock market performance.
  • Ownership of tangible assets.
  • Long-term wealth preservation objectives.
  • Portfolio risk management strategies.

While Gold IRAs are not suitable for every investor, Gold Advisor notes that many retirees and pre-retirees view precious metals as a potential complement to traditional retirement investments.

Growing Interest in Retirement Diversification

Recent years have seen heightened investor interest in alternative retirement assets as market volatility, inflation concerns, geopolitical uncertainty, and questions surrounding long-term debt levels continue to shape investor behavior.

Many retirement savers approaching retirement are increasingly focused on diversification strategies designed to reduce concentration risk within their portfolios.

Industry observers have noted that investors frequently research Gold IRAs after experiencing periods of stock market volatility or when evaluating ways to balance traditional retirement holdings with assets that historically have demonstrated different performance characteristics than equities.

According to Gold Advisor, retirement diversification remains one of the primary reasons investors begin researching precious metals IRAs.

Why Goldco Ranked Second

Goldco secured the second position in Gold Advisor’s rankings and received recognition as the Best Gold IRA Company for 401(k) Rollovers.

Researchers highlighted the company’s strong rollover support, educational resources, and longstanding presence within the precious metals industry. Goldco was also recognized for helping investors better understand the role precious metals may play within a diversified retirement strategy.

Why American Hartford Gold Ranked Third

American Hartford Gold earned the third position and was recognized as the Best Gold IRA Company for Low Fees.

Gold Advisor noted that American Hartford Gold’s low-fee positioning, accessible onboarding experience, and strong presence in the precious metals industry contributed to its placement in the rankings.

The company was also recognized for helping investors better understand how precious metals may fit into a diversified retirement portfolio.

Evaluation Criteria

Gold Advisor’s rankings were developed using a proprietary review process designed to evaluate the factors most commonly cited by retirement investors when selecting a Gold IRA company.

Review categories included:

  • Company reputation.
  • Customer reviews and satisfaction.
  • Industry experience.
  • Educational resources.
  • Precious metals selection.
  • Rollover assistance.
  • Account setup process.
  • Transparency.
  • Buyback programs.
  • Overall customer experience.

The organization emphasized that no single Gold IRA company is necessarily the best fit for every investor and encourages consumers to perform their own due diligence before making retirement-related decisions.

Robert Clamon on What Motorcycle Racing Taught Him About Risk and Decision-Making

Published

on

San Jose, California, Aug 25, 2026, ZEX PR WIRE — For Robert Clamon, motorcycle racing has never been about taking unnecessary chances. It has been about preparation, judgement, and knowing how to make decisions when there isn’t much time to hesitate.

Those lessons have followed him into his professional life.

Clamon, an Area Fleet Operations Supervisor with PG&E in San Jose, began his career as a mechanic at San Jose BMW before moving into management roles at Weston’s Auto Body and Monterey-Salinas Transit. Across each stage of his career, he has found that managing risk is less about avoiding uncertainty and more about being prepared for it.

“People hear motorcycle racing and think it’s all about speed,” Clamon said. “But if you’re not prepared, speed doesn’t help you. You need to understand the machine, pay attention to what’s happening around you, and know when to push and when to back off.”

That mindset has influenced how Clamon approaches decisions at work.

In racing, conditions can change quickly. A rider has to respond without losing focus. In operations, the details are different, but Clamon sees a similar need for calm thinking and situational awareness.

“You’re rarely going to have perfect information,” he said. “At some point, you have to make the best decision you can with what you know, then be willing to adjust if something changes.”

Preparation Before Pressure

Clamon’s mechanical background gave him an early appreciation for preparation. At San Jose BMW, he learned that problems often begin with details that are easy to overlook.

That lesson became even more important as he moved into leadership.

“When you’ve worked on the equipment yourself, you understand that small things matter,” he said. “You don’t want the first time you notice a problem to be when everything has already gone wrong.”

Rather than viewing preparation as a way to eliminate all risk, Clamon sees it as a way to create better options when something unexpected happens.

He carries the same philosophy into motorcycle racing. Proper maintenance, knowing the bike, understanding conditions, and staying mentally focused all help a rider make better decisions once the race begins.

A Serious Accident Changed His View of Risk

Clamon’s relationship with risk became more personal after he was involved in a serious motorcycle accident.

Recovery forced him to slow down and reconsider what progress looked like. It also challenged the idea that determination always means pushing harder.

“There were times when I wanted things to move faster than they were going to,” Clamon said. “You learn that sometimes the right decision is to be patient. That was a difficult lesson, but it’s one I’ve carried with me.”

The experience changed how he handles pressure. When a situation starts to feel overwhelming, he tries to avoid reacting to everything at once.

His approach is simple: take a breath, identify what matters most, and deal with the next problem in front of him.

“That doesn’t mean ignoring the bigger picture,” he said. “It means not letting the bigger picture stop you from making the next good decision.”

Why Good Risk-Taking Isn’t Reckless

Clamon believes people sometimes confuse confidence with certainty.

Whether someone is moving into management, suggesting a new idea, or taking on an unfamiliar responsibility, there’s rarely a guarantee that everything will work exactly as planned.

For Clamon, confidence comes from preparation and experience rather than pretending uncertainty doesn’t exist.

“Taking a risk doesn’t mean you stop thinking about the consequences,” he said. “You should understand what can go wrong, prepare for what you can, and then decide whether the risk makes sense.”

That perspective has shaped a career that moved from hands-on mechanical work into increasingly complex management responsibilities.

Clamon doesn’t see those earlier roles as separate from the work he does today. Instead, he views them as part of the experience that taught him how to judge problems, listen to people, and make decisions without overcomplicating them.

Motorcycle racing may seem far removed from fleet leadership, but for Clamon, the connection is clear.

Preparation matters before pressure arrives. Details matter when the stakes rise. And sometimes the most important skill isn’t knowing how fast to move, but knowing when to slow down.

About Robert Clamon

Robert Clamon is an Area Fleet Operations Supervisor with PG&E in San Jose, California. His career has included roles as a mechanic at San Jose BMW, General Manager at Weston’s Auto Body, and Fleet Supervisor at Monterey-Salinas Transit. His background combines hands-on automotive experience with years of management and fleet operations work.

Outside of his career, Clamon is interested in motorcycle racing, fosters miniature pigs, and is an avid dog lover. He values integrity, dependability, continuous learning, and practical problem-solving, and he credits both his professional experience and recovery from a serious motorcycle accident with shaping the way he approaches leadership and decision-making.

Coinbunch Launches Specialist Crypto Tax Reporting and Accounting Service for Individuals and Institutions

Published

on

United Arab Emirates, 25th Aug 2026 — Coinbunch, a licensed and registered financial institution, today announced the launch of its crypto tax reporting, transaction reconciliation, and accounting service for individuals and institutions whose digital asset holdings are too fragmented, technical, or spread across jurisdictions for conventional tax preparers and generic tax software to handle correctly.

Crypto holders with activity spanning multiple exchanges, wallets, and chains routinely run into the same problem: cost basis is fragmented or missing, some exchanges have closed or stopped providing records, and on-chain activity such as staking, lending, liquidity provision, and bridging falls outside what most preparers can interpret. Generic tax software compounds the issue by frequently misreading transfers between a client’s own wallets and exchanges as taxable disposals, inflating reported gains and producing schedules that do not reflect what actually happened.

Coinbunch’s service is built specifically around these failure points. The desk reconstructs cost basis from on-chain data, partial exports, and bank records; identifies and reconciles self-transfers so they are removed from the disposal schedule; classifies DeFi and on-chain income into the correct tax treatment; and prepares multi-year catch-up filings for clients whose earlier returns were never filed or were filed incompletely. Every filing-ready schedule is delivered with supporting working papers that trace each figure back to its source records. A parallel accounting line of service provides bookkeeping and financial statement preparation for individuals, funds, and entities holding digital assets, built from the same reconciled data where clients engage the desk for both.

Every engagement follows the same structure: a confidential scoping call to assess the client’s holdings, jurisdictions, and entity type; a written scope of work and a fixed fee delivered before any work begins; and execution in which transactions are matched, cost basis is rebuilt, and gaps are flagged for the client’s review before any figure is finalized. Data collection is read-only throughout — Coinbunch never requests private keys, seed phrases, or transfer authority.

The firm reports a track record spanning more than 30 jurisdictions and hundreds of engagements, all delivered on a fixed-fee basis with no hourly billing. Clients range from individual traders and long-term holders with years of complex or unfiled history, to family offices, funds, corporate treasuries, and DeFi participants whose on-chain activity requires specialist classification.

“I have spent the past 12 years practicing tax law and the past eight working in cybersecurity. Both fields reward the same habits: precision, patience, and a willingness to sit with a problem until it is properly understood. That is the mindset we brought to Coinbunch,” said Joachim, Founder and CEO of Coinbunch.

Coinbunch confirms client eligibility before any onboarding begins, assessing jurisdiction, entity type, source of funds, and identity verification. The firm does not serve every country and directs prospective clients to confirm coverage before starting a scoping call. Coinbunch does not hold, move, or transact client assets, and has warned that any party claiming to recover blockchain funds on the firm’s behalf is fraudulent.

Coinbunch is available now for scoping calls at coinbunch.com, with a written scope of work and fixed fee provided after each confidential consultation.
