DVP Received USD 2 Million from Kryptos Research for Security Technology Innovation
Though it has been decades since the debut of Bitcoin, the blockchain industry is still in an early stage with plenty of vulnerabilities undetected or undiscovered. Committed to providing users with the most comprehensive protection, DVP has been doing its best to find solutions for the security issues.

Since the inception in 2018, DVP has grown into the world’s largest decentralized white hat community based on the idea “vulnerability is mining”. So far, over 15,500 white hats have detected more than 6,000 vulnerabilities and protected over 2,000 registered vendors on the DVP platform. In turn, around $10 Million rewards were distributed to white hats.
As security issues have aroused more and more attention of crypto participants, the long-term value of DVP has gradually been recognized by this industry. Kryptos Research, a research-oriented investment & digital asset management agency, decided to deepen the cooperation after in-depth research and witnessing the recent progress of DVP.
After months of research and development, DVP launched several user-friendly tools. In the past year, the growth of DeFi took the crypto world by storm, but there was also a great increase in the number of hacks and security breaches in the ecosystem. To solve problems at the source, DVP has paid great attention to developing automated detection and audit tools supported by the expertise of the DVP white hat community, since last year. Furthermore, DVP starts to focus more on the monitor and risk warning of flash loan incidents from 2021.
Having recognized the capability of DVP and what DVP would bring to the entire industry, Kryptos believes that DVP will be the best guardian of the industry and one of the leading project in the security domain. That’s why Kryptos made the decision to offer $2M funds and all other resources needed to the future development of DVP and build walls of protection for the blockchain world.
With the support from Kryptos, DVP promises to put more efforts and resources into research and development of innovative technologies, as well as user education. It’s expected to see more security related products going live in the near future.

Alex Cecola Highlights the Growing Importance of Due Diligence Before Making Investment Decisions
Chicago, Illinois, September 6th, 2026, ZEX PR WIRE, Alex Cecola, Founder of Vincere Portfolios, a Chicago-based trading technology company, is speaking out on a topic he believes deserves more attention from everyday investors: the discipline of due diligence. As markets continue to attract new participants drawn in by social media hype and unverified claims of success, Alex Cecola says the gap between marketing and reality has never been more important to close.
Vincere Portfolios was built on the idea that individual traders deserve access to the same standards of transparency and structure that institutions have long relied on. That mission now extends into a broader conversation about how investors, at every level, should evaluate opportunities before committing capital.
For Alex Cecola, the conversation is not abstract. He has spent years studying how both discretionary and algorithmic traders make decisions, and he has seen firsthand how quickly good intentions can be undone by a lack of preparation. That experience continues to shape how he speaks publicly about investor behavior today.
A Market That Rewards Preparation
Financial markets have always rewarded preparation over impulse, but Alex Cecola notes that the tools available to retail investors today make it easier than ever to skip that preparation entirely. Automated platforms, rapid-fire content, and one-click investing have lowered the barrier to entry. They have not, however, lowered the risk.
According to Cecola, this combination creates a dangerous shortcut. Investors can move capital in seconds, often based on a headline, a chart screenshot, or a stranger’s claim of returns. Few of those decisions involve any meaningful verification.
He points out that speed and convenience are not inherently negative. Technology has made markets more accessible than ever before, and that accessibility can benefit investors who use it responsibly. The concern, he says, arises when convenience replaces judgment rather than supporting it.
“The ease of access is not the same as the quality of the decision,” Cecola said. “Just because you can invest quickly does not mean you should skip the steps that protect your capital.”
The Case for Verifiable Performance
A central theme in Cecola’s message is the importance of verifiable performance. Too often, he explains, trading results are presented without context: no audited records, no consistent timeframes, and no clear methodology behind the numbers.
Alex Cecola argues that performance claims should be treated as a starting point for questions, not a finish line. Investors should ask how results were generated, over what period, under what market conditions, and whether the same process would hold up during a downturn.
Vincere Portfolios has structured much of its own approach around this principle, emphasizing systematic processes that can be reviewed and understood rather than results presented in isolation.
Transparency as a Standard, Not a Bonus
Cecola is direct about where he believes the industry falls short. Transparency, he says, is too often treated as an optional feature rather than a baseline expectation.
“When transparency is missing, that absence is information in itself,” Cecola said. “Investors should pay attention to what isn’t being shown, not just what is being promoted.”
This philosophy shapes how Vincere Portfolios approaches its own trading technology. The company was built around the belief that traders should understand the logic behind a strategy, not simply trust that it works. Automation, in this view, should support clarity rather than obscure it.
Independent Research Over Assumptions
Alex Cecola also points to the role of independent research in protecting investors from decisions driven by convenience or trend. Relying solely on a platform’s own marketing materials, he explains, creates an incomplete picture.
He encourages investors to look beyond a single source before allocating capital. That includes reviewing third-party data where available, understanding a strategy’s historical drawdowns, and evaluating whether risk management practices are clearly defined.
Cecola frequently returns to a simple distinction in his own approach: separating emotion-driven decisions from process-driven ones. He believes the same standard should apply to due diligence itself.
“Research should challenge your assumptions, not just confirm them,” he said. “If everything you’re reading agrees with what you already want to believe, that’s a signal to look further.”
Vincere Portfolios’ Approach to Disciplined Investing
Since founding Vincere Portfolios, Alex Cecola has focused on building systematic trading tools designed around consistency, efficiency, and education. The company’s goal has been to give individual traders access to institutional-grade infrastructure without requiring them to abandon careful evaluation along the way.
Cecola’s background studying both discretionary and algorithmic trading strategies informs this approach. He has spent years examining risk management frameworks and performance evaluation methods, experience that shaped his conviction that long-term results come from process rather than prediction.
Vincere Portfolios continues to emphasize automation paired with clear, understandable methodology. The company’s broader aim is to help traders understand not just the potential upside of a strategy, but the risks embedded within it.
Looking Ahead
As markets evolve and new investment products continue to emerge, Alex Cecola expects due diligence to become even more central to responsible investing. He points to the increasing availability of trading technology as both an opportunity and a responsibility: tools are more powerful, but the need for scrutiny grows alongside them.
Cecola plans to continue contributing to public conversations on algorithmic trading, market technology, and investor education. Through Vincere Portfolios, he intends to keep building tools that reward preparation and informed decision-making over speed alone.
“Markets will always offer shortcuts,” Cecola said. “The investors who do well over time are usually the ones who choose not to take them.”
About Vincere Portfolios
Vincere Portfolios is a Chicago-based trading technology company founded by Alex Cecola. The company focuses on making institutional-grade systematic trading tools more accessible to individual investors, with an emphasis on automation, transparency, and education. Vincere Portfolios is built around the belief that disciplined, data-based processes, rather than emotion-driven decision making, lead to stronger long-term outcomes in the markets. Under Cecola’s leadership, the company continues to develop tools and resources designed to help traders better understand both the opportunities and risks present in today’s financial markets.

“We treat every house like a neighbor’s house, because around here it usually is one,” said Daniel Kolbert, owner of Hilltop Painting. “Do the prep right, use good materials, show up when you said you would, and stand behind the work. That is the whole playbook.”
Hilltop Painting holds a 4.9 out of 5 rating across 185 customer reviews on Google, Thumbtack, Angi, Yelp, and Facebook. The company is licensed and insured in Washington State and is an EPA Lead-Safe Certified firm for work on homes built before 1978, which covers much of Bellingham’s Columbia, Sunnyland, and York neighborhoods.
