Brooklyn, NY, United States, 10th Jul 2026 – Vantage Vascular, an outpatient vascular and interventional radiology practice serving patients across New York and New Jersey, has been selected as one of just over 10 leading U.S. clinical sites chosen to participate in the RESORB clinical test, a landmark national study evaluating a breakthrough, non-surgical treatment for knee osteoarthritis pain.
Being named a RESORB test site is not automatic. NEXTBIOMEDICAL, the study sponsor, specifically sought out practices with the clinical expertise, imaging capabilities, and patient-first infrastructure to effectively conduct a pivotal FDA test.
RESORB (Randomized Controlled Study Evaluating Genicular Artery Embolization Against Intra-Articular Corticosteroid Knee Injection for Osteoarthritic Knee Pain) is a pivotal, FDA-approved clinical test comparing genicular artery embolization (GAE) using an investigational device called Nexsphere F to a standard corticosteroid knee injection. The test is enrolling approximately 126 patients across more than 10 U.S. sites and is registered on ClinicalTrials.gov as NCT06872567.
Genicular artery embolization is a minimally invasive, outpatient procedure in which board-certified interventional radiologists use image guidance to deliver tiny particles into blood vessels feeding the inflamed tissues of the knee.
Nexsphere F is a novel, fast-resorbable microsphere technology. Unlike permanent embolic agents, Nexsphere F microspheres dissolve naturally within 2 to 6 hours after the procedure.
Term blockage of blood flow. The device has already received FDA Breakthrough Device Designation, CMS IDE Category B approval (meaning Medicare covers the procedure during the test), and CE-MDD certification in Europe, where it has been used in thousands of procedures with a strong safety record.
Why Being a Selected test Site Matters for Patients
Clinical test site selection for an FDA pivotal study is highly competitive. Sponsors identify practices based on physician expertise, procedural volume, imaging infrastructure, and the ability to safely manage research protocols.

The test’s national Principal Investigator and Chief Medical Officer for NEXTBIOMEDICAL is Dr. Ziv J. Haskal, MD, Professor of Interventional Radiology at the University of Virginia. The clinical evidence behind Nexsphere F continues to grow: a published study in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology evaluating 155 patients treated with resorbable microspheres found a 67% average reduction in pain at 6 months, with no device-related serious adverse events.
Who May Be Eligible
The RESORB test is enrolling adults who:
• Have knee osteoarthritis pain that has not responded adequately to conservative treatments for at least 2 months
• Are not currently planning knee surgery or knee replacement
• Meet the study’s eligibility criteria as reviewed by Vantage Vascular’s clinical team
If enrolled, participants are randomly assigned to receive either GAE with Nexsphere F or a corticosteroid knee injection. Those initially assigned to the corticosteroid injection have the option to receive GAE after 180 days. The test runs approximately 12 to 18 months, and participation is always voluntary.
The test is FDA-IDE and IRB-approved (IRB approval at the protocol level: October 31, 2025). During the test, the procedure is covered under CMS IDE Category B, meaning Medicare-eligible patients may have coverage for test participation.

Green Mobility in Africa — UNDP and TAILG Sign MOU for a Green, Low-Carbon Mobility Project to Advance Sustainable Development in Africa and Beyond
Nairobi, Kenya, July 9, 2026 – The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and TAILG, a leading electric mobility company, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding roject (MOU) in Kenya regarding the Green Mobility Centre of Excellence (GM-CoE), launching the “Green Ride Africa” initiative. The two parties have established a strategic partnership to jointly implement flagship projects for green, low-carbon mobility. Through multidimensional collaboration—including technology innovation, ecosystem development, and industry incubation—they aim to accelerate the transition toward sustainable transportation in Africa and support the achievement of regional Sustainable Development Goals. “Green Ride Africa” draws its name from the concepts of “green and low-carbon” and “roaming freely on the open road.” Building on the UNDP’s African Electric Mobility Pilot Project, the initiative promotes the transition from gasoline to electric power for two- and three-wheeled vehicles, while integrating local photovoltaic and energy storage infrastructure. By leveraging clean energy for transportation, it aims to reduce carbon emissions, improve people’s mobility, and support sustainable development across Africa and benefit local communities.
UNDP acts as the UN’s implementing agency at the national level in many ways, working with partners in numerous countries to promote sustainable development, eradicate poverty, advance gender equality, strengthen good governance, and promote the rule of law. Based on its long-term observation of TAILG’s actual performance and contributions to the development of clean transportation, UNDP selected TAILG as a partner for the GM-CoE project. TAILG’s participation as a corporate partner in the development of the green mobility sector is at the core of this collaboration.
The signing of this MOU establishes a comprehensive framework for long-term, stable, and structured cooperation among all parties. The parties have clearly identified the joint establishment, operation, and large-scale development of the GM-CoE as a key starting point for continuously driving the growth of Africa’s green and low-carbon mobility industry. Situated at the bottom of Main Austin, the 904 Complex is a panel about 200 metres by 200 metres. When Madsen was previously in production, there was a ventilation raise passing through this panel that didn’t allow miners to extract material, because it would have compromised their ventilation and access.
“Definition drilling at Madsen also continues to intercept significant gold mineralization within the 904 Complex”, continued Robinson. “We are currently advancing laterally across the upper portions of this panel, and we look forward to testing this area at depth over the coming months as underground decline development opens new drill access.”
“The 904 Complex has not been historically mined,” Robinson confirmed to Guy Bennett, the CEO of Global Stocks News (GSN). “That’s unusual in our current production scenario – where we’re operating at higher levels, designing the mine plan around historic stopes.”

“The two key areas that we’re focused on in this July 7 press release are the 955 Complex, with drilling completed from the 12th level, at about 600 Metres depth, and also from the 904 Complex, with most of that drilling completed from the 13th level, at around 650 metres depth,” stated Robinson in the YouTube explainer video.
“In the 955 Complex, we had 3.9 Metres at 43 grams per tonne gold, that included half a metre at around 292 grams per tonne gold. We also hit 3.1 metres at around 54 grams per tonne gold, and that intercept included about half a metre at 323 grams per tonne gold. Very high grade. Occurrences of visual gold complemented both of those intercepts.
In the 904 Complex, the headliner intercept was 13.4 metres at 10.2 grams per tonne gold, which included 1.1 metres at around 70 grams per tonne gold.
Our goal is to take areas like the 955 and 904 Complexes and drill those off in 2026 and get them integrated into our mine plan for the first half of 2027. Our crew remains on schedule to deliver on that timeline.
We also have a surface drill turning right now at the Starratt-Olsen Mine. It is the second largest gold producer historically on the Madsen property with ~164,000 oz of gold produced between 1948 and 1956 at an average grade of 6.17 grams per tonne gold.”
“So far, we’ve completed eight holes on that program for around 2,500 metres,” continued Robinson. “We’re about halfway through the program. All holes have intercepted Madsen-style alteration and mineralization, which is encouraging. We can take the lessons we’ve learned at Madsen and apply them to Starratt-Olsen, which helps us execute a much more efficient drilling program.”
The current underground drilling program at the Madsen Mine is focused on further definition of near-term mining inventory, as well as growth of the current mineral resource. Drilling has been focused on the more continuous and higher-grade portions of the Austin and South Austin Zones. It is anticipated that this will continue to be the strategy through 2026.
