Unlocked Potential Opens Registration for 2026 Flag Elite Fall Youth Basketball League in Flagstaff

Published

on

Registration is officially open for the 2026 Flag Elite Fall Youth Basketball League, giving young athletes across Flagstaff a chance to play, grow and compete this fall, with select divisions capping off the season at the Phoenix Suns’ Mortgage Matchup Arena.

United States, 4th Sep 2026 — Unlocked Potential, a Flagstaff-based youth basketball organization, has opened registration for its 2026 Flag Elite Fall Youth Basketball League. The Youth basketball leagues flagstaff season is open to players from Pre-K through high school and is designed to meet kids wherever they are in their basketball journey, whether they’re picking up a ball for the first time or already playing at a competitive level. All regular season games are held locally in Flagstaff, keeping the league accessible for families throughout the community while still offering the bigger stage of a Phoenix championship for those who make it that far.

Every registered player receives a season jersey and weekly practices throughout the fall, along with a full slate of regular season games and an end-of-season playoff tournament for all teams above the Pre-K level. Divisions from 3rd grade through high school will also take part in an All Star Game, and the season wraps with awards for first and second place finishers, an MVP recognition in each division from 1st through 9th grade, and championship games for select divisions played at the Phoenix Suns’ Mortgage Matchup Arena. The season is scheduled to begin at the end of September and includes a break over Thanksgiving week, so families can plan around the holiday without missing games.

Players in 3rd through 4th grade, 5th through 6th grade, 7th through 9th grade and the high school division will go through a skills assessment before teams are formed. Rather than grouping kids strictly by grade, the assessment lets coaches place each player according to ability, so games stay competitive and every athlete has room to build confidence and improve. Pre-K through Kindergarten and 1st through 2nd grade are structured a little differently, with practice days set in advance; families with players in those age groups are encouraged to contact Coach Kiki directly for scheduling details. Pricing starts at $160 for Pre-K through Kindergarten, while 1st grade through high school is $195, and scholarships are available for families who need them.

“We built this league so every kid in Flagstaff has a place to play, whether they’re just learning the game or already chasing a championship,” said Coach Kiki, founder of Unlocked Potential. “Getting to send our older divisions down to play at the Phoenix Suns’ arena gives our players something to work toward all season, and it’s one of the best experiences we get to offer as a program.”

Unlocked Potential has become a go-to name for Phoenix youth basketball leagues in Flagstaff and across northern Arizona, running rec leagues, camps and training alongside its seasonal league offerings. Spots in the Flag Elite Fall League are limited and are expected to fill quickly. Families can register online now at Registration link: https://unlockedpotential.net/product/flag-elite-fall-youth-basketball-league/, and questions about assessments, scholarships or younger division scheduling can be directed to Coach Kiki at Kiki@UnlockedPotential.net or by phone at 928-853-0014.

TXOne Networks Launches AI-Driven Edge Release, Bringing Zero-Disruption OT Protection to Virtual Infrastructure

Published

on

New vEdgeIPS Pro virtual appliances and closed-loop AI automation cut policy deployment effort by more than 90 percent, debuting this September at SEMICON Taiwan

TAIPEI, Taiwan, Sept. 4, 2026 -TXOne Networks, a leader in Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) security, today launched its next-generation Edge Networking Solution at flagship industry event this September: SEMICON Taiwan, September 2 to 4 in Taipei. The release adds four AI-powered capabilities across TXOne’s Discover, Assess, and Protect framework, and introduces vEdgeIPS Pro, TXOne’s first virtual appliance line, extending Edge’s inline, fail-safe protection from physical hardware to virtualized OT infrastructure.

Semiconductor fabs and discrete manufacturing plants alike run valuable production lines on process tools that can never be patched, alongside newer systems that increasingly connect back to the corporate network. Only 1 in 8 organizations report full visibility into the ICS Kill Chain, leaving 75% of organizations with a gap between detection and containment of more than 6 hours (SANS 2025 State of ICS/OT Security Survey). Given that attacks such as LockBit ransomware can execute in ~4 minutes (Splunk SURGe, 2022), this gap can lead directly to a full plant shutdown. SEMICON Taiwan brings TXOne directly to a community carrying that same risk, one in semiconductor manufacturing, the other across discrete and process automation broadly.

“Semiconductor fabs and discrete manufacturing plants run some of the most valuable and most exposed production networks anywhere, full of equipment that will never see another security patch,” said Dr. Terence Liu, Chief Executive Officer of TXOne Networks. “This release puts AI to work at every stage of Edge: it finds legacy assets no signature ever could, writes and tunes security policy in hours instead of weeks, and turns a flood of alerts into one prioritized next step. We are introducing it everywhere our customers already are.”

Four AI Pillars, One Closed Loop

Most security tools simply generate alerts and stop there. TXOne developed four capabilities that connect throughout the Discover, Assess, and Protect cycle. This interconnected approach ensures that protection builds upon itself, creating a cumulative defense rather than just accumulating dashboards.

  • Asset Intelligence: AI-based OS fingerprinting identifies legacy and embedded devices that signature-only tools miss, then maps them automatically to known vulnerabilities, with online, offline, and air-gapped update support.
  • Policy Automation: AI-powered rule learning builds, aggregates, and tunes security policy automatically, cutting deployment effort by more than 90% and compressing rollout from weeks to hours without losing coverage or accuracy.
  • Threat Alert Visibility: An AI-enhanced alert engine groups events by real-world severity, automatically builds the attack chain from detection through vulnerability match to response, and maps every affected asset connection, turning forensics from hours and informational into seconds and actionable.
  • OT Integration: A built-in MCP (Model Context Protocol) Service and RESTful APIs let authorized AI agents query and act on Edge data in plain language, inside EdgeOne’s own security perimeter.

The loop closes where it starts: attack-chain findings from Threat Alert Visibility feed back into Asset Intelligence and Policy Automation, sharpening the system continuously, helping prevent incidents before they begin.

The release also extends support for manufacturers working toward industry standards such as SEMI E187, the semiconductor industry’s fab equipment cybersecurity specification, pairing network segmentation, OT protocol trust lists, and virtual patching with fail-safe design built in.

One Architecture, Physical or Virtual

Edge already spans rugged, small-form-factor appliances, high-port-density and 10-gigabit rack systems, EdgeFire industrial firewalls, and EdgeOne central management on-premises or in the cloud. This release adds vEdgeIPS Pro, bringing that same inline protection into virtualized environments for the first time, so a plant running virtualized control systems gets the same security architecture as one running physical hardware, sized from a single virtual machine to a full production cluster.

“Every capability in this release was built for the plant floor: brownfield assets, air-gapped networks, and zero tolerance for downtime,” said Ryan Lung, Director of Network Defense Solution at TXOne Networks. “Fail-safe design means security never gets in the way of production. Protection is proactive, policy decisions are explainable, and value shows up within the first hour of deployment.”

Availability

The AI-powered Edge Networking Solution, including vEdgeIPS Pro, will be available worldwide in September 2026 through TXOne Networks and its global partner network. More information: www.txone.com.

Native Doors Highlights 5 Entry Door Trends Shaping California Homes in 2026

Published

on

United States, 4th Sep 2026 — Entry doors are taking on a larger role in California residential design as homeowners look beyond standard sizes and configurations toward larger openings, custom proportions, distinctive finishes, glass, and higher-performing materials.

Native Doors is highlighting five trends shaping the way homeowners and designers are approaching residential entrances in 2026. The shift reflects a broader evolution in home design, with the front door increasingly considered an architectural feature that can influence curb appeal, natural light, security, and the overall character of a property.

“Homeowners are no longer treating the front door as an isolated product choice. We’re seeing more attention being paid to proportion, glass, finishes, configuration, and how the entrance works with the architecture of the entire home,” said Garen Nalbandian, co-founder of Native Doors.

1. Customization Is Taking a Bigger Role in Entry Door Design

Standard door dimensions continue to serve many residential applications, but customization is becoming a more important consideration for homeowners seeking a distinctive entrance. Custom entry doors can be designed around unique proportions, larger openings, unconventional layouts, and individualized design details.

Customization allows homeowners to consider door size, configuration, finishes, hardware, glass, and surrounding elements as part of a coordinated entrance. For California properties ranging from contemporary residences to Mediterranean-inspired and transitional homes, this approach allows the entryway to complement the architectural language of the property rather than appear as an afterthought.

Native Doors offers a range of iron doors, including single, double, pivot, arched, and sidelite configurations designed for different architectural applications.

2. Oversized Entrances Are Becoming Architectural Features

Large entryways are increasingly being used to create a stronger visual connection between the exterior and interior of a home. Oversized and double-door configurations can establish a sense of scale while creating an immediate focal point at the front of a property.

The trend is particularly relevant to modern homes with open floor plans, expansive façades, and carefully designed landscaping. Instead of simply providing access, a large entrance can frame the transition between outdoor and indoor spaces.

Pivot doors and substantial double-door configurations are also contributing to this movement, giving homeowners additional ways to make the entryway a defining architectural element.

3. Black Finishes Are Expanding Across Architectural Styles

Black remains an influential color in contemporary entry door design, but its application is expanding beyond a strictly industrial aesthetic. Black finishes are now being incorporated into minimalist, luxury, transitional, and traditional residential designs.

The combination of dark finishes with clean lines, decorative glass, architectural hardware, and refined proportions can create a contemporary interpretation of the classic black front door. For homeowners looking for modern front doors, black can provide contrast against light stucco, stone, wood, or neutral exterior finishes commonly found throughout California.

4. Glass Is Playing a Bigger Role

Glass is becoming an increasingly important design element in entry doors, particularly as homeowners look for ways to introduce natural light while maintaining the visual presence of the entrance.

Decorative and strategically positioned glass panels can soften the appearance of substantial iron or steel doors while creating a brighter transition area inside the home. Native Doors offers options with decorative glass inserts, providing homeowners with opportunities to incorporate additional natural light alongside the strength and security associated with metal construction.

This balance between openness and privacy is particularly relevant to contemporary residential design, where natural light continues to influence material and layout decisions.

5. Performance Matters as Much as Appearance

While aesthetics remain important, homeowners are also evaluating entry doors based on durability, security, insulation, and long-term performance. This is creating greater interest in materials such as iron and steel doors, which can combine substantial construction with architectural design.

Depending on the door construction and specifications, features such as insulation, thermal breaks, and protective finishes can also contribute to thermal performance and help address practical considerations associated with different environments.

For homeowners, the decision is no longer limited to appearance alone. The ideal entry door must contribute to the architectural character of the home while delivering the durability, security, and performance expected from a long-term residential investment.

These trends reflect a broader shift toward treating the entryway as an integral part of a home’s overall architectural design. Native Doors offers homeowners a range of options, from custom entry doors and oversized configurations to modern finishes, glass, and durable materials, allowing them to select an entrance that aligns with both the visual identity and practical requirements of their property. More information about Native Doors and its collection of architectural door solutions is available on the Native Doors website.
