The Pool Factory Honors Customer Backyards Nationwide Through Its Annual Photo Contest
-
America’s Above Ground Pool Experts
puts real families, not staged marketing photos, at the center of its yearly celebration
Edison, New Jersey, Sep 10, 2026, ZEX PR WIRE — The Pool Factory, recognized across the country as America’s Above Ground Pool Experts
, is marking another year of its Annual Photo Contest, a tradition that invites homeowners to share the story of their backyard transformation in their own words and images.
Every year, customers from every corner of the United States send in photos of their finished above ground pools and semi-inground pools, giving future shoppers a look at what these pools actually look like once they become part of everyday family life. The contest has grown into one of the company’s most anticipated traditions, largely because it hands the microphone directly to the people who matter most: the customers themselves.
“Marketing photos can only tell part of the story,” said a spokesperson for The Pool Factory. “What actually convinces someone to move forward with an above ground pool is seeing a real backyard, owned by a real family, that looks lived in and loved. That’s what this contest gives us every single year.”
A Contest Built to Answer Real Questions
Homeowners considering an above ground pool tend to ask a similar set of questions before they commit. Is installation something an average family can manage on their own? Will the pool actually get used once the excitement wears off? Does this company live up to its reputation? Instead of answering those questions with more advertising, The Pool Factory lets its own customers respond directly through the contest.
To enter, customers submit a photo of their completed backyard along with a short explanation of why they chose The Pool Factory, a description of their installation experience, and their favorite part of owning a pool. Many of the top entries are later featured throughout the company’s website, including on specific product pages, so shoppers can see above ground pools set up in real yards instead of digital renderings.
Every Family Has a Different Reason
Part of what makes the contest special, according to The Pool Factory, is how different every winning story tends to be. Some families wanted to build a space their grandchildren would beg to visit. Others were chasing the feeling of a private resort just outside their back door. Many simply wanted a reason to slow down and spend more time together as a family.
One entrant described the impact this way:
“Our pool has become the heart of our backyard, bringing us together for family time, cookouts, celebrations, and countless summer memories.”
Another customer framed the purchase as something bigger than a backyard upgrade:
“Choosing The Pool Factory wasn’t just about buying a pool. It was about investing in quality time, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.”
Proving Installation Is Within Reach
A common hesitation among prospective buyers is whether they can realistically install an above ground pool themselves. Photo contest entries submitted year after year suggest the answer is yes, with the right planning and preparation.
One customer recalled tackling the project as a couple for the first time: “My wife and I installed it ourselves. It was the first time ever doing a pool, and all the parts were there. It ended up awesome.”
Another family made the installation a group effort: “Me, my wife, and our two kids installed it in one day.”
The Pool Factory notes that no two installations look exactly alike, and preparation still matters. But hearing directly from homeowners who have already completed the process gives new customers a clearer, more honest picture of what to expect.
A Backyard Transformation, Not Just a Pool
The feedback collected through the contest consistently goes beyond swimming itself. Customers describe their finished backyards using language that reflects a much bigger lifestyle shift. Entrants have called their spaces:
-
Their private resort
-
A peaceful retreat
-
The centerpiece of family gatherings
-
Their favorite place to unwind after a long day
-
A place where children and grandchildren build lifelong memories
For The Pool Factory, that shift in tone says something important. Customers aren’t just describing a pool purchase. They’re describing a backyard that has become central to how their family spends time together, season after season.
That kind of language rarely shows up in traditional advertising, which is part of why the contest carries so much weight internally. It is one thing for a company to claim its above ground pools change the way families use their backyards. It is another thing for dozens of homeowners to say it themselves, unprompted, year after year.
The company also points to the range of entries as proof that above ground pools and semi-inground pools work for a wide variety of homes. Entries have come from small suburban lots, sprawling rural properties, and first-time homeowners tackling a backyard project for the very first time. Despite those differences, the underlying theme stays the same: a once-unused backyard becomes the place everyone wants to be.
Supporting Customers Beyond the Sale
The Annual Photo Contest reflects a broader philosophy at The Pool Factory: helping customers get real, lasting value from their above ground pools and semi-inground pools long after the initial purchase. As America’s Above Ground Pool Experts
, the company has built its name on guiding homeowners through every stage of the process, from selecting the right pool for their backyard to supporting them through setup and beyond.
By continuing to feature authentic customer photos and firsthand accounts rather than staged photography, The Pool Factory gives future customers something advertising alone cannot offer: proof, straight from the families who have already made the investment.

Garrett Kappel Marketing Expands Brand Consistency Services for Multi-Channel Marketing Environments
Lisle, Illinois, Sep 10, 2026, ZEX PR WIRE — Garrett Kappel Marketing has announced the expansion of its brand consistency services for businesses managing marketing across multiple communication channels. The expanded offering is designed to help organizations maintain a clear and recognizable brand presence as they increase their use of websites, social media, email, digital advertising, content marketing, and other customer-facing platforms.
The new service offering from Garrett Kappel Marketing focuses on one of the practical challenges facing growing businesses: keeping brand messaging consistent when different teams, platforms, and campaigns are involved. The company will work with businesses to review existing communication, identify areas of inconsistency, and establish clearer guidelines for how their brands are presented across channels.
Addressing a Common Challenge in Multi-Channel Marketing
Businesses have more ways to communicate with customers than ever before. A single organization may manage its website, social media accounts, email campaigns, paid advertising, sales materials, and online content at the same time.
That wider reach creates opportunities, but it can also make brand management more difficult. A company may use one tone on its website, another on social media, and a different message in its advertising. Even small differences can make a business appear less consistent to potential customers.
Garrett Kappel Marketing developed its expanded services to address this issue. The company will help organizations examine their communications as a whole rather than treating each marketing channel as a separate activity.
Consistency does not mean every piece of communication has to sound exactly the same, said Garrett Kappel, marketing professional. “It means customers should be able to recognize the same company, values, and promise wherever they encounter the brand.
Building a Clearer Brand Foundation
The expanded service begins with a review of a company’s existing brand communication. Garrett Kappel Marketing examines messaging, positioning, tone, audience priorities, and the way key information appears across different channels.
The process is intended to give businesses a practical picture of where their communication currently stands. Rather than introducing unnecessary changes, the company identifies areas where small adjustments may create greater consistency.
For growing organizations, this work can become particularly useful when marketing responsibilities are shared among employees, agencies, freelancers, or different departments. A clear framework gives everyone a common reference point when creating new materials.
Garrett Kappel Marketing also considers whether the brand’s communication reflects the company’s broader objectives. A consistent message has greater value when it supports what the business is actually trying to achieve.
Connecting Digital Channels With the Overall Brand
Digital marketing has made it easier for businesses to reach audiences, but it has also increased the number of places where brand communication appears.
A potential customer may discover a company through a search engine, visit its website, see an advertisement later that day, and then encounter the business on social media. Each interaction contributes to the customer’s understanding of the brand.
Garrett Kappel Marketing’s expanded services are intended to help businesses create continuity across those interactions. The company reviews how core messages are communicated and whether each channel contributes to the same overall positioning.
This approach allows businesses to maintain flexibility in their content while keeping their central message intact. A social media post can have a different format from a website page, but both should still feel connected to the same organization.
Supporting Growing Companies
The expanded brand consistency services are intended for businesses at different stages of development, particularly organizations that are adding marketing channels as they grow.
Smaller businesses often begin with a single website or social media presence. As their customer base develops, they may introduce paid advertising, email marketing, video, partnerships, or additional platforms. Without clear communication standards, the brand can gradually become difficult to manage.
Garrett Kappel Marketing helps organizations establish practical standards before inconsistencies become difficult to correct. These standards can cover areas such as messaging priorities, brand voice, customer-facing language, and the presentation of important business information.
For established organizations, the process can provide an opportunity to review existing communication and determine whether different teams and channels continue to represent the brand in a consistent manner.
Keeping Messaging Relevant Without Losing Identity
Brand consistency does not require businesses to remain static. Garrett Kappel Marketing recognizes that companies need to adjust their messaging as markets, customer expectations, and communication habits change.
The challenge is determining which changes strengthen the brand and which ones simply create unnecessary movement. A business can respond to new platforms or customer preferences while maintaining a recognizable identity.
The expanded services therefore place emphasis on establishing a stable foundation that allows businesses to adapt without losing clarity. New campaigns and communication formats can then be evaluated against that foundation before they are introduced.
This helps organizations distinguish between meaningful changes and short-lived marketing decisions.
A Practical Approach to Brand Management
Garrett Kappel Marketing has structured the expanded offering around practical recommendations that businesses can apply within their existing operations.
The company does not expect every organization to have a large marketing department or extensive resources. Its approach takes into account the people, tools, budgets, and processes already available to each business.
Recommendations may include adjustments to messaging, communication guidelines, channel coordination, content planning, or internal review processes. The objective is to give businesses a system they can realistically maintain.
“Brand consistency works best when it becomes part of everyday marketing rather than an occasional exercise, Kappel said. Businesses need guidelines that people can actually use when they are creating content, speaking with customers, or planning campaigns.
Supporting Customer Recognition and Trust
Consistent communication can also influence how quickly customers recognize a business and understand what it offers. When core messages remain stable across different interactions, customers have more opportunities to become familiar with the company.
Garrett Kappel Marketing views this familiarity as an important part of building lasting customer relationships. The company believes businesses should make it easy for customers to understand who they serve, what they provide, and what distinguishes them from alternatives.
Clear communication can also reduce confusion when customers move between different channels. A website, social media profile, advertisement, and email campaign should provide a connected experience rather than appearing to come from separate organizations.
Expanding Support Across Multi-Channel Environments
The expanded services are now available through Garrett Kappel Marketing for businesses seeking support with brand consistency and multi-channel communication.
The company will continue developing its service capabilities as businesses adopt new platforms and communication methods. Garrett Kappel Marketing expects the need for clear brand systems to remain important as organizations manage increasingly varied customer touchpoints.
The expansion reflects the company’s broader approach to marketing, which emphasizes clear positioning, careful planning, consistent execution, and ongoing evaluation.
By expanding its brand consistency services, Garrett Kappel Marketing aims to help businesses create a stronger connection between their marketing channels and the brand customers encounter across them.

Evolution Metals & Technologies Provides Initial Revenue Guidance of $400-460mm for Fiscal Year 2027
Miami, Florida, September 10th, 2026, FinanceWire
Fiscal 2027 outlook of $400 million to $460 million reflects the expected first full-year contribution from the expansion of annual rare earth magnet production capacity in Pohang, Republic of Korea, to approximately 10,000 metric tons, including approximately 6,000 metric tons of high-performance sintered NdFeB magnets, as the January 1, 2027 DFARS mine-to-magnet restriction takes effect
Evolution Metals & Technologies Corp. (“EM&T” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: EMAT), a U.S.-based critical materials and advanced manufacturing company, today provided initial revenue guidance for fiscal years 2026 and 2027. The Company expects revenue of $5 million to $8 million for fiscal 2026 and $400 million to $460 million for fiscal 2027.
The two-year guidance reflects EM&T’s expected transition from its current production base in 2026 to the first full year benefiting from its expansion in Pohang, Republic of Korea. Thirteen additional ULVAC sintered magnet production machines, placed on binding purchase orders, are scheduled for delivery and installation in November 2026 and are expected to increase annual rare earth magnet production capacity from approximately 1,000 metric tons to approximately 10,000 metric tons, including approximately 6,000 metric tons of high-performance sintered magnets. The expansion is supported by agreed principal terms with Korea Electric Power Corporation to increase electrical infrastructure serving the Pohang operations from 130 megawatts to approximately 750 megawatts, approximately 1.3 million square feet of adjacent land to be acquired from the Pohang City Government, and conditional approval of an approximately $20.7 million grant from Pohang City and Gyeongbuk Province.
The outlook is based on management’s current assessment of demand from existing customers and the anticipated conversion of prospective customer opportunities into orders and shipments, together with assumptions regarding equipment commissioning, customer qualification, production ramp, feedstock availability, working capital, product mix, pricing and shipment timing. EM&T has secured non-China NdPr metal under its agreement with Senri Trading Co., Ltd., sourced from SRE Vietnam, and has taken delivery of its first shipment under that arrangement. The Company has also announced Tier-1 OEM quality certifications across six grades of high-performance sintered NdFeB magnets, drawing on more than 18 years of commercial-scale rare earth processing and magnet-making experience. The fiscal 2027 range reflects anticipated utilization during the production ramp and does not represent the revenue potential of the planned capacity at full utilization.
“Providing guidance for both years gives investors a clearer view of the financial progression we expect as the Pohang expansion moves from equipment installation and commissioning in late 2026 into its first full year of operation in 2027,” said Christopher Clower, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of EM&T. “The ranges reflect the demand and operating assumptions we can reasonably incorporate today, including the pace of customer conversion, feedstock availability and the working capital required to support higher throughput. The guidance reflects anticipated utilization during the production ramp rather than full utilization of planned capacity, and we intend to update the market as our visibility improves.”
“January 1, 2027 marks a significant change in sourcing requirements for the U.S. defense industrial base,” said Andrew F. Knaggs, President of EM&T. “For neodymium-iron-boron magnets, DFARS 252.225-7052 will extend the restriction across the entire mine-to-magnet supply chain, while the July 2026 Executive Order substantially tightened the conditions for waivers and directed faster qualification of compliant sources. EM&T’s existing Korean manufacturing platform, non-China feedstock arrangements and planned capacity expansion are designed to help address that need at commercial scale while continuing to serve our established global customer base.”
“Delivering against this guidance is fundamentally a matter of execution,” said Frank Moon, Chief Executive Officer of EM&T. “Our priorities are to install and commission the additional equipment, bring the supporting facility and power expansion online, secure the feedstock required for higher production volumes, complete required customer qualifications and convert demand into shipments. Pohang allows us to scale from an established operating base, with an experienced engineering team and long-standing customer relationships. The operating record and capabilities we build there will also support our planned expansion in the United States and continued growth beyond 2027.”
In connection with its expansion, EM&T has engaged an international public relations and strategic communications firm to broaden the Company’s global market visibility, develop international partnerships, and strengthen its press and digital communications presence. The engagement is intended to expand awareness of the Company among institutional audiences, industry partners and financial media as EM&T moves through its capacity expansion and into fiscal 2027.

Scientology Volunteer Ministers Open Yellow Tent in Bologna
Piazza Lucio Dalla hosts the Volunteer Ministers exhibition through 8 September, combining practical tools for everyday difficulties with first-hand accounts from communities assisted after floods and earthquakes
Brussels, Brussels, Belgium, 10th Sep 2026 — A travelling yellow tent operated by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers has opened in Bologna’s Piazza Lucio Dalla, bringing to the city an exhibition focused on practical methods for helping people confront difficulties in everyday life, alongside photographs and accounts documenting volunteer work carried out during emergencies in Italy and internationally.

The initiative was inaugurated on Sunday, 30 August, before around 100 people and is scheduled to remain in the square through 8 September. Inside the large yellow pavilion, information panels and videos present approaches to subjects including communication, interpersonal relationships, study, work, marriage, raising children and coping with environments that may be experienced as unsafe or difficult.
The opening took on a particularly local character through the participation of three guests who had encountered the Volunteer Ministers not through an exhibition, but during emergencies affecting their own communities: Luca Vecchiettini, Mayor of Pianoro; Fabrizio Lazzarini, a restaurateur from Pianoro; and Andrea Ferrarini, former president of the Radio Club Contea Nord civil protection group in Bondeno.
Their accounts connected the educational material displayed inside the tent with the less visible work that often follows floods, earthquakes and other emergencies: clearing mud, supporting relief operations, helping residents restore damaged premises and assisting communities as they begin returning to everyday life.
Pianoro: a relationship born after the 2024 floods
Mayor Vecchiettini recalled the relationship established between the Municipality of Pianoro and the Volunteer Ministers following the severe flooding that struck the Bologna metropolitan area in October 2024.
The emergency caused extensive disruption across Bologna and neighbouring municipalities, including Pianoro and the Val di Zena, areas that experienced repeated extreme weather events during 2023 and 2024. The Emilia-Romagna regional authorities documented the scale of the recovery work undertaken in Pianoro and surrounding localities.
Vecchiettini, whose responsibilities include civil protection and community affairs, described at the Bologna ceremony the friendship that developed between the local administration and the volunteers during the recovery effort. His institutional responsibilities are listed by the Municipality of Pianoro.
Fabrizio Lazzarini offered a more personal recollection. His restaurant was among the premises overwhelmed by mud following the October flooding. A group of Scientology volunteers assisted with the clean-up, and the restaurant subsequently became an informal base for people involved in relief activities arriving in Pianoro from different areas.
During the inauguration, Lazzarini recalled the difficult days following the flooding and expressed his appreciation for the assistance received by his business and the surrounding community.
The third account reached further back into Emilia-Romagna’s recent history. Andrea Ferrarini spoke about the aftermath of the 2012 earthquake and the assistance provided in communities including Bondeno and Medolla.
The earthquake triggered extensive civil-protection and volunteer mobilisation across the region. The Italian Scientology-associated civil-protection organisation PROCIVICOS records formal acknowledgements received for volunteer assistance provided after emergencies, including recognition connected with the response in Medolla following the 2012 earthquake.
The three testimonies formed the central human element of the Bologna opening, illustrating how relationships established during emergencies can continue long after the immediate crisis has passed.
From emergency response to everyday difficulties
Following the ribbon-cutting, visitors entered the tent to see a photographic exhibition of Volunteer Ministers activities and material explaining the programme’s broader purpose.
Although their yellow shirts have become particularly associated with emergency response, the Volunteer Ministers programme was not conceived solely for disaster situations.
The programme was established in 1976 by L. Ron Hubbard, founder of Scientology, as a religious social-service initiative intended to provide practical assistance to people confronting difficulties in their lives.
The programme is supported internationally by the Church of Scientology, and its training materials address such subjects as communication, study, relationships, marriage, parenting, workplace difficulties, stress and the achievement of personal goals.
Over the decades, an international Volunteer Ministers disaster-response network has developed alongside these community activities, with volunteers participating in relief operations following earthquakes, floods, fires and other emergencies.
That combination — preparedness for exceptional circumstances and attention to ordinary human problems — is central to the Bologna exhibition.
Rather than concentrating exclusively on images of disaster response, the displays also present methods intended to help individuals communicate more effectively, resolve difficulties and approach challenging situations in a more organised and constructive manner.
The approach reflects the broader purpose of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers programme: providing practical assistance in circumstances ranging from individual personal difficulties to large-scale emergencies.
Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to the European Union, OSCE, Council of Europe and United Nations, said:
“European communities depend not only on public institutions, but also on citizens who are prepared to help when another person or an entire neighbourhood faces difficulty. What has been remembered in Bologna — from the floods in Pianoro to the earthquake response in Emilia-Romagna — is a practical expression of solidarity. Helping people recover their ability to communicate, organise and move forward is closely connected with human dignity, civic responsibility and the values on which peaceful and resilient communities are built.”
The Bologna event also illustrates how a programme developed within a religious community can interact with municipal authorities, civil-protection organisations, businesses and individual citizens around practical forms of community assistance.
For the people who spoke at the inauguration, that relationship was based less on theory than on direct encounters during moments when additional help was needed.
Their presence in Piazza Lucio Dalla gave the exhibition a distinctly regional dimension, connecting the international history of the Volunteer Ministers programme with events experienced directly by communities in Emilia-Romagna.
The inauguration and the presence of the travelling tent in Bologna were also reported by BolognaToday.

A travelling programme across Italy
The Bologna installation forms part of a travelling initiative that has brought similar Volunteer Ministers exhibitions to cities across Italy.
Inside the tent, visitors can view photographic panels documenting humanitarian and community activities while learning about practical methods developed within Scientology for addressing everyday interpersonal and organisational problems.
The exhibition therefore presents two dimensions of the same programme: large-scale assistance during emergencies and practical support intended for everyday circumstances.
This distinction is significant because much of the Volunteer Ministers programme takes place outside disaster zones. Its methods were developed to address situations involving communication difficulties, conflict, study, work, relationships and other aspects of daily life.
In emergency settings, those same principles are applied in environments where organisation, cooperation and practical assistance can become especially important.
The Bologna tent remains in Piazza Lucio Dalla through 8 September, with the exhibition open daily from 10:00 to 23:00.
The Church of Scientology was founded on the religious philosophy developed by author and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard. The Volunteer Ministers programme was created by Mr. Hubbard in 1976 as a practical social-service initiative through which Scientologists and other trained volunteers can assist individuals and communities.
Volunteer Ministers have participated in humanitarian and disaster-response activities in many countries, while also providing educational materials addressing communication, relationships, study, work and other challenges encountered in daily life.
Churches of Scientology, missions, groups and members are present throughout the European continent. The Church’s recognition as a charitable and bona fide religion continues to grow across European jurisdictions, alongside activities undertaken by Scientologists in the fields of education, prevention, human rights, humanitarian assistance and community betterment.
