Press Release
Cloom Tech Spotlights EMI Wire Harness Manufacturing Capabilities for Industrial Clients
Medley, FL 33178, United States, 15th Sep 2026 – Cloom Tech, a manufacturer of custom wire harnesses and cable assemblies, has announced details of its EMI wire harness manufacturing capabilities for industrial clients. The announcement outlines the company’s approach to producing wire harnesses designed to manage electromagnetic interference in applications where signal integrity and shielding performance are required.

Cloom Tech manufactures custom wire harnesses and cable assemblies for industries including automotive, robotics, and medical devices, with design support available from prototype through production. The company’s EMI wire harness offering is intended for clients whose equipment operates in environments where unshielded or poorly shielded wiring can be affected by, or contribute to, electromagnetic interference, a consideration that becomes more significant as equipment density and signal complexity increase across these industries.
EMI wire harnesses are constructed using shielding methods such as braided or foil shielding, along with grounding and termination techniques intended to reduce interference between wiring and nearby electronic components. Cloom Tech’s manufacturing process for these harnesses includes material selection, shield termination, and testing steps intended to verify that finished assemblies meet the electrical and mechanical specifications provided by the client. The company noted that shielding effectiveness can be affected by factors such as connector grounding, cable routing, and the physical layout of components within a piece of equipment, which is why harness design is typically reviewed alongside the client’s overall electrical system rather than treated as a standalone component.
Testing steps applied to EMI wire harnesses can include continuity checks, shield integrity verification, and, depending on the client’s requirements, interference testing intended to confirm the harness performs as specified once installed. Cloom Tech said these steps are incorporated into its production process for EMI-specific orders in addition to the general quality checks applied to its standard wire harness and cable assembly production.

“An EMI wire harness manufacturer has to account for shielding and grounding requirements at every stage of production, not just at final assembly,” said Ivy Zhao, Spokesperson for Cloom Tech. “The company works with clients from the design stage onward to make sure the harness construction matches the electromagnetic environment the equipment will actually operate in.”
Cloom Tech’s design support process for EMI wire harnesses typically begins with a review of the client’s equipment layout and interference requirements, followed by prototyping and testing before full production begins. The company manufactures both standard and custom wire harness configurations, allowing clients to specify shielding type, connector requirements, and cable routing based on their equipment’s design. This design-to-production process is applied across the company’s served industries, with harness specifications adjusted to the mechanical and electrical requirements of automotive, robotics, and medical device applications. The company said this process is intended to reduce the amount of rework needed once a harness design moves from prototype into production volumes.
“Demand for properly shielded wire harnesses continues to grow as industrial and robotics equipment becomes more densely packed with electronics,” Zhao said. “Cloom Tech expects to keep expanding its EMI wire harness manufacturing capabilities to support clients working with increasingly complex equipment layouts.”

Cloom Tech is a manufacturer of custom wire harnesses and cable assemblies based in Medley, Florida, serving industries including automotive, robotics, and medical devices. The company provides design support from prototype through production, producing wiring solutions intended to meet the durability and reliability requirements of each client’s project. The announcement regarding its EMI wire harness manufacturing capabilities reflects the company’s ongoing work supplying wire harness solutions to industrial clients.

Cloom Tech Highlights Waterproof Wire Harness Manufacturing for Harsh-Environment Applications
Medley, FL 33178, United States, 15th Sep 2026 – Cloom Tech, a manufacturer of custom wire harnesses and cable assemblies, has announced details of its waterproof wire harness manufacturing capabilities for harsh-environment applications. The announcement outlines the company’s approach to producing wire harnesses designed to maintain electrical performance when exposed to moisture, dust, and other environmental conditions.

Cloom Tech manufactures custom wire harnesses and cable assemblies for industries including automotive, robotics, and medical devices, with design support available from prototype through production. The company’s waterproof wire harness offering is intended for equipment that operates outdoors, in washdown environments, or in other settings where wiring can be exposed to water, humidity, or particulate contamination.
Waterproof wire harnesses are built using sealed connectors, protective sheathing, and gasketed terminations intended to prevent moisture and debris from reaching the conductive elements of the harness. Cloom Tech’s manufacturing process for these harnesses includes material selection, seal placement, and testing steps intended to verify that finished assemblies meet the ingress protection and mechanical specifications provided by the client. The company noted that ingress protection requirements vary by application, and that connector and sealing choices are made based on the specific exposure conditions an assembly will face rather than applied as a single standard configuration.
Testing applied to waterproof wire harnesses can include immersion or spray testing, continuity checks, and inspection of seal and connector integrity, depending on the client’s specifications. Cloom Tech said these steps are incorporated into its production process for waterproof orders in addition to the general quality checks applied to its standard wire harness and cable assembly production.

“A waterproof wire harness manufacturer has to think about the entire assembly as a sealed system, not just the connector at the end,” said Ivy Zhao, Spokesperson for Cloom Tech. “The company works with clients to understand the environment the harness will actually be exposed to, whether that is washdown cycles, outdoor exposure, or submersion, and builds the sealing approach around that.”
Cloom Tech’s design support process for waterproof wire harnesses typically begins with a review of the client’s environmental exposure requirements and equipment layout, followed by prototyping and testing before full production begins. The company manufactures both standard and custom wire harness configurations, allowing clients to specify connector types, sealing methods, and cable routing based on their equipment’s design. This design-to-production process is applied across the company’s served industries, with harness specifications adjusted to the mechanical and environmental requirements of automotive, robotics, and medical device applications. The company said this process is intended to reduce the amount of rework needed once a sealed harness design moves from prototype into production volumes.
“Demand for wire harnesses that can hold up in harsh or wet environments continues to come from clients whose equipment operates outdoors or in washdown settings,” Zhao said. “Cloom Tech expects to keep expanding its waterproof wire harness manufacturing capabilities to support clients whose equipment faces these operating conditions.”

CLOOMS Launches Goatee.io, an AI-Powered Tool Helping Men Visualise Beard Styles Before Making a Change
Boulder, CO 80302, United States, 15th Sep 2026 – Goatee.io, an AI-powered tool that lets men preview different beard and goatee styles on their own face using a selfie, has been launched by its maker, CLOOMS. The tool is designed to let a user see how a given facial hair style would look on them before deciding whether to grow it out or shave.

GoAtee is a tool where a user uploads a photo of their own face, and the tool generates previews showing that face with a range of beard and goatee styles applied. The intended purpose is to let someone compare several styles side by side and make a decision before committing weeks of growth, or a trip to a barber, to a look they are not certain will suit them.
The tool addresses a common decision point for men considering a change to their facial hair: whether a particular beard or goatee style will suit their face shape and features, a question that is otherwise difficult to answer without growing the style out first or relying on a barber’s opinion. By generating a preview directly from a selfie, Goatee.io is intended to let users evaluate multiple styles in the time it takes to upload a photo, rather than waiting through the growth process for each option under consideration.
Goatee.io does not require photo-editing software or an in-person consultation to use. A user can access the tool directly through a web browser, upload a selfie, and view the resulting style previews without additional setup. The company said this straightforward workflow reflects its broader approach to building single-purpose tools that are simple to use and focused on solving one specific task. A range of beard and goatee styles is made available for preview, allowing a user to move between options and compare how each one appears on their own face before settling on a direction.

“A lot of men decide against trying a new beard or goatee style simply because they are not sure how it will look on them, and growing it out to find out is a real commitment,” said Jack Shi, Founder and CEO of CLOOMS. “Goatee.io removes that guesswork by showing someone what a style actually looks like on their own face before they decide anything.”
Goatee.io is a product of CLOOMS, an independent digital-product company that builds practical AI tools and web utilities. It joins a portfolio of tools the company has built around the same principle, each addressing a specific, everyday task rather than functioning as part of a broader platform. The launch of Goatee.io is intended to give the company an additional product focused on a distinct use case within personal grooming decisions, extending that approach to a visual, appearance-based decision rather than a text- or document-based one.
“Looking ahead, the plan for Goatee.io is to keep expanding the range of styles available for preview and to keep the tool simple to use as more people discover it,” Shi said. “CLOOMS expects Goatee.io to remain a steady part of the company’s product lineup rather than a one-time release.”

Goatee.io is an AI-powered beard and goatee style preview tool available at goatee.io, built by CLOOMS, an independent digital-product company based in Boulder, Colorado. The launch reflects the company’s continued work developing single-purpose tools intended to help people make everyday decisions with more confidence.
