Payzum Adds Automatic Stablecoin Conversion for Online and In-Store Crypto Payments
Merchants can accept Bitcoin, Ethereum or Solana and keep the proceeds in USDT or USDC — with separate controls for their web store and their register.
Shams Media City, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, 31st Aug 2026 – Payzum today announced automatic stablecoin conversion across its payment gateway and its point-of-sale system, letting merchants accept any supported cryptocurrency while holding none of it. Incoming payments are converted to the merchant’s chosen stablecoin and sent to their own wallet, with conversion charged at 1% on top of Payzum’s 0.5% sale fee.
The feature addresses the reason most merchants who are curious about crypto never switch it on: they are willing to be paid in it, but not to hold it. A store that accepts Bitcoin on Monday and prices its inventory in euros has taken on a currency position it did not want.
Two different volatility problems
Payzum treats the web store and the register as separate cases, with independent settings for each.
For e-commerce, conversion runs after the payment confirms, moving funds to the merchant’s stablecoin address. Merchants can source from Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Base, BNB Chain, Tron and Solana, as well as Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin.
For point of sale the exposure is sharper. A counter sale is quoted in fiat and settled in front of the customer, so a volatile coin creates a gap between the price on the display and what the merchant actually receives. Payzum therefore ships volatile-currency acceptance at the register turned off by default; a merchant switches it on deliberately, and can decide separately whether POS takings convert. A shop can convert its online sales while keeping counter takings in the coin received, or the reverse.
“A merchant told us he’d take Bitcoin if he didn’t have to think about Bitcoin,” said Jose Freyre, founder of Payzum. “That’s the whole feature. And the register isn’t the same problem as the website — you’re quoting a price in euros to someone standing in front of you. Bundling those two into one switch would have been the easy thing to build and the wrong thing to ship.”
A ceiling instead of a surprise
Conversion costs are capped. If converting a given payment would cost more than 3% of it — which happens on small amounts, where network fees dominate — Payzum does not convert. The payment is forwarded to the merchant unchanged rather than being eroded by the cost of moving it. Merchants are never charged a disproportionate fee on a small sale.
Payzum remains non-custodial throughout: converted funds settle to an address the merchant controls, and Payzum does not operate merchant balances or convert to fiat.
Availability
Automatic conversion is available now to all Payzum merchants and can be enabled from the dashboard’s conversion settings. Details at payzum.com.

Fingerprint Boston Expands Mobile Fingerprinting Service Across Metro Boston, Massachusetts
Fingerprint Boston in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, now accepts FD-258 fingerprint cards mailed from overseas, inspects and digitizes them for submission, and coordinates apostille, translation and return shipping so Americans living abroad complete a background check requirement without traveling to the United States.
Tewksbury, MA, United States, 31st Aug 2026 — Fingerprint Boston, a fingerprinting and document services office in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, has expanded its mobile fingerprinting service to employers, care facilities and residents across the Greater Boston area. The service brings Live Scan digital capture and FD-258 ink card fingerprinting to a client’s location. A technician travels with the capture equipment, fingerprints individuals or groups on site and reviews each set of prints for quality before leaving.

Who the service is for
The expansion responds to two groups. The first are employers whose new hires must complete a fingerprint-based background check as a condition of employment or licensing, including healthcare facilities, schools, security firms, financial services firms and contractors. On-site capture allows a group to be fingerprinted in a single visit during the workday. The second is residents who have difficulty reaching an office appointment, including people in assisted living, individuals recovering from illness or surgery and caregivers who cannot leave a dependent. The service is available at private residences by appointment.
Service area and scheduling
Mobile visits are available throughout Metro Boston, including Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Newton, Quincy and Lowell, with extended coverage into Worcester County and southern New Hampshire by arrangement. Visits are scheduled in advance and quoted by group size and location. Fingerprint Boston also provides in-person service at its Tewksbury office by appointment. Office rates are $49.95 for an FD-258 ink card set, $65 for Live Scan capture and $125 for FBI background check submission support.
Some background checks required by Massachusetts state agencies must be completed through the state’s designated fingerprint vendor and cannot be performed by a private provider. Employers and applicants are advised to confirm with the requesting agency which type of check applies before scheduling any appointment.
“Employers were sending new hires across town one at a time and losing half a day each,” said Hanson Webb, owner of Fingerprint Boston. “Bringing the equipment to the workplace completes the same requirement in one visit.”
Webb has operated a document services business in Tewksbury since 2007. The office serves individuals and employers across Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
Employers and residents can request a mobile fingerprinting quote at https://fingerprintboston.com/mobile-fingerprinting/. Information on digital capture is available at https://fingerprintboston.com/live-scan-fingerprinting/.

Veteran Owned Pineland Cleaning Solutions Expands Pressure Washing and Window Cleaning in Pinehurst
Pineland Cleaning Solutions, a veteran owned exterior cleaning company based in Aberdeen, North Carolina, has expanded its pressure washing, window cleaning, gutter cleaning and roof washing service across fifteen Moore County and central North Carolina communities. The company is run by a retired Green Beret and a former Marine with a combined 25 years of active duty service, and it is fully insured. Homeowners searching for pressure washing near me or window cleaning near me in Pinehurst, Aberdeen and Southern Pines can book a free quote at 910-900-7463.
Aberdeen, North Carolina, United States, 31st Aug 2026 – Type pressure washing near me into a phone in Moore County and a dozen names come back. Pineland Cleaning Solutions is betting that homeowners who read past the first three will pick the one run by people who spent 25 years being held to a standard.

The Aberdeen based exterior cleaning company is owned and operated by a retired Green Beret and a former Marine, with a combined 25 years of active duty service between them. It is fully insured, it works out of a shop at 416 South Sycamore Street, and it now covers fifteen communities across Moore County and central North Carolina, including Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen, Carthage, Whispering Pines, Seven Lakes, West End, Foxfire, Pinebluff, Vass, Cameron, Jackson Springs, Raeford, Sanford and Morrisville.
The service list is short on purpose. Residential and commercial pressure washing, home soft washing, roof washing, gutter cleaning, and residential window cleaning inside and out.
“People call us for pressure washing Pinehurst homes and half the time what they actually need is a soft wash,” said an owner of Pineland Cleaning Solutions. “We tell them that before we quote it. Putting 3,000 psi on vinyl siding or a shingle roof will get the algae off and take the surface with it. That is not a cleaning, that is a repair bill.”
The distinction matters more in this part of the state than most. Soft washing works on chemistry and dwell time rather than force, which is what siding, brick, stucco, painted trim and roofing need. High pressure is reserved for what can take it: concrete driveways, sidewalks, walkways, patios and pavers. The company runs roof washing on the low pressure method for exactly that reason, stripping the organic growth off shingles without shortening the life of the roof.
Gutters are the other job central North Carolina forces on people. Longleaf pine drops needles year round, the rain comes hard, and a packed gutter sends the overflow straight down the siding and into the fascia, the foundation and the landscaping. That is where the wood rot and the staining start. Homeowners searching gutter cleaning near me in August are usually already looking at the damage. The company clears the runs completely rather than scooping the visible debris and calling it done. Window cleaning is handled by hand, interior and exterior, and finished streak free. It is the service that shows the fastest, and the one that draws the steadiest repeat business in Pinehurst, Southern Pines and Aberdeen, where a large share of the housing stock has the window count to justify hiring it out.

Pricing is quoted up front, in writing, before any work starts. Active duty and retired military and first responders receive 10 percent off every service. Free quotes are available by phone at 910-900-7463 or through the website.
“We are on site until it is right,” the owner said. “That is not a slogan, it is just how we were trained. Nobody in a Special Forces team room ever finished at 90 percent and went home.”
The expansion tracks a real shift in how the work gets found. Searches for power washing near me, roof washing near me and window cleaning near me now start on a phone, at the curb, usually right after somebody looks up at their own roof. The companies that answer, quote fast and show up on the day they said they would are the ones that get the second job. Pineland Cleaning Solutions has built its scheduling around that.
Homeowners and property managers in Moore County can reach the team at 910-900-7463 or pinelandcleaningsolutions@gmail.com.

Press Release
West Red Lake Gold Q2 Results Deliver Higher Gold Production and Strong Financial Performance
West Red Lake Gold Mines delivered a strong Q2 2026 at the Madsen Mine, with gold production rising 51% from Q1 to 8,576 ounces as the company accessed higher-grade non-remnant mining areas.
Canada, 31st Aug 2026 – Global Stocks News – Sponsored content disseminated on behalf of West Red Lake Gold. On August 25, 2026, West Red Lake Gold Mines (TSXV: WRLG) (OTCQB: WRLGF) announced Q2, 2026 financial and operating results from the Madsen Mine located in the Red Lake mining district of Ontario, Canada.
West Red Lake Gold is executing a hub-and-spoke growth strategy. The Madsen mill and infrastructure are intended to serve as a central processing hub for multiple past-producing high-grade deposits across the Red Lake District.
This multi-asset approach is designed to provide greater operational flexibility, expand margins, extend mine life, and support a larger production profile over time.
Three months ago, West Red Lake Gold CEO Shane Williams told Guy Bennett, CEO of Global Stocks News that “We are now accessing higher-grade non-remnant mining areas. In the next quarter we expect an increase in revenue, mine income, gold sales and gold production.”
West Red Lake Gold demonstrated that progress, with improvements across both the operating and financial performance of the Madsen Mine. Gold production increased 51% over Q1 to 8,576 ounces, while gold sales increased 34% to 8,260 ounces.

The stronger operating performance was reflected in lower unit costs with cash costs(1)(2) decreasing 23% to US$2,000 per ounce sold, compared with US$2,594 per ounce in Q1.
All-in sustaining cost (AISC) (1)(2) decreased 30% to US$3,284(1) per ounce sold, compared with US$4,678 per ounce in Q1, bringing Q2 AISC within the Company’s 2026 guidance range of US$2,800 to US$3,600 per ounce.
WRLG generated $9.7 million of positive free cash flow during Q2, and ended Q2, 2026 with approximately $31.2 million in cash and cash equivalents.
“Q2 demonstrated the progress we are making at Madsen, with higher mining rates and gold production translating into stronger financial performance,” stated Williams in the August 25, 2026 press release.
“Gold production increased 51% and gold sales increased 34% over Q1, contributing to a 30% reduction in AISC to US$3,284 per ounce, within our 2026 guidance range, while Madsen generated $9.7 million of positive free cash flow.”
“Our focus for the balance of 2026 is on consistent execution while continuing to invest in underground development and infrastructure to build production inventory and greater operating flexibility.”
Non sustaining growth capital expenditures totaled $6.32 million in Q2, primarily related to the continued advancement of the Fork Deposit access drift and the Madsen shaft refurbishment project, positioning WRLG to access additional mining areas while supporting future production growth, increased hauling capacity and improved operating flexibility.
Higher mining rates relative to mill throughput allowed WRLG to establish a surface stockpile during the quarter. At June 30, 2026, the stockpile contained approximately 10,768 tonnes of ore. The stockpile provides additional flexibility between underground mining and mill processing.

(1)Foreign exchange rate of CAD$/USD$ 1.3843 Q2 and CAD$/USD$ 1.3781 Year to Date (2) Refer to Non-IFRS Measures
One of WRLG’s key spokes is the satellite Rowan Project positioned within trucking distance of the Madsen mill. On June 9, 2026 WRLG announced an updated 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the Rowan Project as well as a maiden MRE for the nearby Mount Jamie deposit, located 2 kilometres from Rowan.
Rowan Indicated gold ounces increased by 70% to 335,058 ounces @13.04 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, compared to 196,747 ounces @12.78 g/t gold in the 2025 MRE (See news release dated June 9, 2026 and July 22, 2026).
Rowan Inferred gold ounces increased by 52% to 179,029 oz grading 15.31 g/t Au, compared to 421,181 tonnes containing 118,155 oz grading 8.73 g/t Au in the 2025 MRE.
Minimal exploration expenditure of C$3.5 million, combined with low drilling of 6,300 metres, represented a modest discovery cost of approximately C$17.60/oz gold.

Meanwhile, the price of gold has rebounded US$500 in the last 30 days, from $4,000 to $4,500.
“We’ve been a very big advocate of gold, not so much as a yielding instrument, but as a defensive asset,” stated Mike Wilson, chief US equity strategist and CIO at Morgan Stanley.
“At the end of last year, the Fed started printing money with this reserve management program. That led directly to gold and silver stocks taking off.”
“Gold has been in a bull market for 25 years,” Wilson added. “People kind of woke up to this idea more recently.”

The total U.S. national debt is currently about $40 trillion, translating to a debt burden of $297,000 per US household. Interest on the US national debt is now $1 trillion annually, exceeding Medicare spending for the first time.
“The cost of servicing that debt needs to be lower than the rate at which the currency is depreciating,” stated Brien Lundin in a 2024 interview. “Otherwise, the entire house of cards collapses.” Lundin has speculated that gold may rise to $6,000-$8,000 within the current cycle.
“We’re pleased with the progress the team has made during this quarter,” stated Williams on an August 26, 2026 Q2 financials webcast. “It’s important to note that this improvement wasn’t isolated to one part of the operation.”
“We had higher mining rates on the ground, improved grades, higher mill throughput, all of which contributed to the higher gold production as part of our ongoing ramp-up,” concluded Williams.
The technical information presented in this release has been reviewed and approved by Will Robinson, P.Geo., Vice President of Exploration for West Red Lake Gold and the Qualified Person for exploration at the West Red Lake Project.
