Payop Introduces A New Joyful Checkout Experience

Published

on

Vancouver, Canada, October 19th, 2026, FinanceWire

Payop, a global payment service provider (PSP), has introduced its redesigned checkout, bringing the company’s new visual identity directly into the payment experience.

Brighter, joyful and more expressive than the neutral interfaces typical for the payment industry, the new design reflects the direction Payop is taking as a company. Instead of following established industry standards, the PSP creates its products around what actually works for people.

A Different Take On Payment Design

Payment interfaces are traditionally kept neutral and minimal. The logic behind it is that when money is involved, clarity and trust come first. But who said they have to be colourless?

In the new Payop checkout, colours are part of the experience. They logically highlight actions, communicate payment statuses, and draw attention to anything that requires data input. This makes the interface easier to read at a glance and helps you instinctively understand what to do next.

“There were two main goals behind this update. First, we wanted to use colour more purposefully. In payments, colour typically shows whether something went right or wrong. We saw an opportunity to introduce it earlier in the journey, helping customers navigate payment options, understand their choices and find the right method more easily.

Second, we wanted to make checkout feel less tedious. Going through multiple payment options can quickly become repetitive and mentally tiring. Clearer visual differences make the interface easier to scan and the whole process feel lighter and more intuitive. We want people to spend less effort figuring out how to pay and simply get on with their purchase,” said Anastasiia Semenkova, CEO of Payop.

Card Payments Return To Payop

Alongside the redesign, Payop has also brought card payments back to its checkout.

Merchants can now offer cards together with local and alternative payment methods available through Payop, giving customers more choice.

This gives more flexibility for different markets and audiences. Customers can choose the option they are most comfortable with, while merchants can combine widely used card payments with methods tailored to local payment habits. All within the same integration.

These changes are a logical continuation of the global rebranding Payop launched at the end of last year. The new identity reflects the company’s focus on making its products more joyful, more human and closer to the gamers and shoppers who use it.

NET Expands Custom Beverage Tablet Development and Manufacturing Services

Published

on

Seoul, South Korea, 19th Oct 2026 — South Korean food technology company NET is expanding its custom beverage tablet development and manufacturing services for food manufacturers and consumer brands. The company is applying formulation and production experience gained through Pocket Tonic to products developed around clients’ ingredients and beverage concepts.

NET’s services begin with assessing whether a client’s ingredients and intended product characteristics are suitable for a beverage tablet. Development then progresses through formulation, prototype production and the establishment of manufacturing conditions, with evaluations covering taste, dissolution, storage stability and production feasibility.

According to NET, developing a beverage tablet requires more than compressing powdered ingredients. Different ingredients affect flavor after dissolution, sensitivity to moisture and quality during storage. The company manages formulation and manufacturing conditions to support consistent quality across production batches.

Pocket Tonic, NET’s first commercial product, is an effervescent tablet that dissolves in water to make a refreshing tonic drink. Its compact format allows it to be carried and stored at room temperature. Consumer feedback on taste and ease of use informs NET’s subsequent product development.

In 2023, NET received the Minister of Science and ICT Award, the grand prize at the Food Technology Awards organized by the Korea Food Research Institute.

NET is working with South Korean food manufacturers and consumer brands on customized formulations. Feedback from Pocket Tonic customers informs these projects, while ingredient and manufacturing data generated through client development work contributes to NET’s own product development. Areas under development include hydration drinks, specialty non-alcoholic bases and beverages for café use.

The company is also exploring distribution opportunities in Indonesia and Singapore. Through its participation in the GSA (Global Startup Academy) G-Camp One ScaleX Indonesia program, NET has conducted market research and business meetings with representatives from the coffee, foodservice and hospitality sectors to discuss potential applications in cafés, restaurants and hotels.

“Pocket Tonic has helped us bring our beverage tablet technology to market and understand how consumers use the product,” said Ye-seong Kim, CEO of NET. “We are applying that experience to custom development and manufacturing based on each client’s ingredients and beverage concept.”

Kim said NET will prioritize projects that can progress from development to commercial production and repeat supply, with attention to taste, ease of use and consistent manufacturing quality.

NET plans to expand its own product portfolio alongside its custom development services, build on its ingredient-specific formulation data and further improve its production and quality management systems.

[About NET] NET is a South Korea-based food technology company specializing in beverage tablet development and manufacturing. It operates the Pocket Tonic brand and provides custom formulation, prototyping and commercial production services for business clients.

Quartz Countertops Releases South Florida Guide on 5 Signs It’s Time to Upgrade Countertops

Published

on

Pompano Beach-based retailer Quartz Countertops has released an essential homeowner’s guide detailing five critical warning signs that signal a kitchen or bathroom countertop needs immediate replacement. Designed for South Florida residents facing severe coastal humidity and high heat, the guide highlights proactive measures to prevent moisture seepage, cabinet structural damage, and costly emergency kitchen renovations.

Pompano Beach, Florida, United States, 19th Oct 2026 — Coastal humidity, heavy household use, and constant exposure to heat take a severe toll on South Florida kitchen and bathroom surfaces. To help local homeowners prevent hidden structural damage beneath their vanities and cabinetry, Quartz Countertops, Pompano Beach’s premier engineered stone specialist, has published an educational guide outlining the five most crucial warning signs that signal an essential countertop replacement.

Quartz Countertops Releases South Florida Guide on 5 Signs It’s Time to Upgrade Countertops

According to a recent 2026 industry survey, over 60% of South Florida homeowners delay upgrading aging surfaces until an emergency occurs, such as severe water infiltration damaging sub-cabinetry or mold growth behind failing backsplashes. In coastal regions like Pompano Beach, high ambient humidity and everyday kitchen spills accelerate the degradation of outdated laminate, tiled, or poorly sealed natural stone surfaces.

“Homeowners often overlook the early signs of countertop failure until liquid begins leaking into their base cabinets or mold takes hold underneath,” said a spokesperson for Quartz Countertops. “By identifying structural fatigue and surface degradation early, homeowners can avoid thousands of dollars in hidden repair costs while significantly enhancing the beauty and resale value of their property.”

5 Signs It’s Time to Replace Your Countertops

  1. Unsealable Stains & Discoloration: Persistent staining, etching, or yellowing on aged natural stone or solid surface tops indicates that sealants have failed, leaving porous materials exposed to bacteria and liquid absorption.
  2. Deep Cracks, Chips, or Structural Fissures: Visible fissures near sinks, cooktops, or heavy seams jeopardize surface integrity, providing pathways for moisture to seep into structural cabinet frames underneath.
  3. Porous Seams & Grout Failure: Deteriorated grout lines in tile counters or separating seams on older laminates trap food particles, water, and mold spores that cannot be sanitized using standard cleaners.
  4. Water Damage & Cabinet Sagging: Soft spots, warped cabinet tops, or visible water stains under sink basins indicate hidden leaks caused by deteriorated sink seals and failing countertop edges.
  5. Outdated Aesthetic & Compromised Lifespan: Surfaces that have exceeded their 15- to 20-year lifespan drag down overall home evaluation scores and lack the sanitary, low-maintenance benefits of modern engineered stone.

To help homeowners navigate these challenges, Quartz Countertops offers personalized consultations and free slab quotes across Broward and Palm Beach counties. Featuring a massive 20,000-square-foot showroom with thousands of full-size slabs, the company provides low-maintenance, non-porous quartz surfaces designed specifically to withstand South Florida’s coastal environment.
