Mediavine Builds Out C-Suite with New Executive Promotions

Published

on

–News Direct–

Mediavine, the largest exclusive full-service ad management firm in the U.S., is building out its C-Suite with key executive promotions. Amanda Martin is taking the newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), while Jamie Lieberman expands her role from Chief Legal Officer to Chief Legal Officer & Chief Operations Officer (CLO/COO). These strategic additions to the leadership team enable Mediavine to proactively find solutions within the media industry while continuing to propel Mediavines business growth by bringing the highest value to the buy and sell sides including agencies, brands and publishers.

Martin joined Mediavine over a year ago as SVP of Monetization and Business Strategy to optimize growing relationships across the buy and sell sides and has been a key representative for Mediavine in the industry. Martin will lead all revenue related activity including Sales, AdTech, Ad Operations, Partnerships & Commercial Data Strategy, while overseeing Mediavines growing DSP and SSP relationships. Martin will also be responsible for Mediavines marketing efforts which include a strategic move to tie marketing initiatives more closely to revenue. Previously, Martin served as SVP of Corporate Development and Strategic Partnerships at digital agency Goodway Group.

I have always been a firm believer that collaboration between the buy and sell sides is what yields the best results for both. This has been how I approached my role at Mediavine, helping our extensive publishing community navigate big industry changes and expand Mediavine beyond supply to highlight the audience strengths of mid to long tail publishers, said Amanda Martin. In my new role as CRO, I remain focused on the connection between demand generated from the buy side to the benefit of the publisher and sell side.

The strategic decision to combine the legal and operations roles at Mediavine is a reflection of the industry's changing landscape and Lieberman's experience as Mediavine's General Counsel, during which she operationalized numerous aspects of the business. This experience has allowed her to integrate processes to create a more sophisticated data-driven organization. In her new role, she continues to influence strategic direction on policies and procedures, intellectual property, contract negotiations and compliance, while also taking on Operations, including Project Management, InfoSec, IT, and Business Intelligence.

"Privacy and data are two important pillars to our organization, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to oversee the legal and operations teams at Mediavine to ensure we are leading the industry through our approach, said Jamie Lieberman. "I look forward to working closely with our team to ensure that we continue to navigate the legal and operational challenges of the digital media industry successfully."

We are excited to build out our C-Suite with the introduction of these two important roles. Amanda and Jamie have proven themselves to be highly strategic and innovative leaders who are helping to evolve our company in a way that sets us up for continued success. By streamlining operations, legal, marketing and sales, we become more agile, effective and ultimately a stronger partner to our publishers as well as brand and agency partners, said Eric Hochberger, Mediavine Co-Founder and CEO. I am also personally proud to expand the leadership team with two women who are strong believers in supporting and promoting other women in AdTech, a value that Mediavine and I share and will continue to champion.

From Chinese AI to Global ETFs: STARTRADER Launches 45 New 24/7 Stock and ETF CFDs

Published

on

Dubai, UAE, August 13th, 2026, FinanceWire

Available from August 13, 2026, the launch covers seven distinct market themes with no trading-hour restrictions.

STARTRADER today announced the launch of 45 new 24/7 Stock and ETF CFDs, available from Monday through Sunday, 00:00–24:00 (GMT+3 platform time).

Where previous 24/7 expansions were anchored around specific themes, this one is defined by its breadth. From quantum computing and Chinese large language models to global index ETFs and digital asset infrastructure, the 45 instruments reflect the full diversity of where market attention sits today.

Two names mark new additions to the platform. ZHIPU and MINIMAX are Hong Kong-listed Chinese AI companies that debuted on HKEX in January 2026. ZHIPU develops large language models for enterprise and developer markets. MiniMax is an AI company focused on artificial general intelligence (AGI), with investors including Alibaba, Tencent, and Hillhouse Capital, and has attracted sustained market attention since its listing.

STARTRADER builds its product offering around where eligible clients are directing their attention. When significant market narratives emerge in new geographies, ensuring access to them is a core part of that responsibility.

“This launch reflects a deliberate choice to keep pace with how global market interest actually moves, across regions, sectors, and timeframes simultaneously. For eligible clients, the launch provides access to a broader range of instruments across regions, sectors, and market themes.” Peter Karsten, Chief Executive Officer, STARTRADER

As STARTRADER’s 24/7 product range continues to grow, the focus remains consistent: building access that reflects the global market as it is today.

Out-of-hours trading may involve wider spreads, reduced liquidity and price gaps, particularly when underlying markets are closed.

Risk Warning: Trading CFDs involves a significant risk of loss and may not be suitable for all investors. Please ensure you fully understand the risks before trading.

Asante Babers Warns of the Everyday Cybersecurity Habits Putting Millions at Risk

Published

on

Cybersecurity engineer Asante Babers, based in the United States, is encouraging people to review their everyday digital habits before a simple mistake becomes a costly problem.

Colorado, USA, August 12th, 2026, ZEX PR WIRE, Most people believe cybercriminals are only interested in large companies or wealthy individuals. According to cybersecurity engineer Asante Babers, that misconception is one of the biggest security risks people face today.

After more than 20 years designing and strengthening security systems across enterprise, government, and mission-critical environments, Babers says the majority of cyber incidents begin with ordinary decisions made by ordinary people.

“The biggest threat isn’t always a sophisticated attack,” Babers says. “More often, it’s a simple habit that someone never thought needed to change.”

Industry research supports that view:

  • More than 80% of data breaches involve stolen or weak passwords.

  • Over 90% of successful cyberattacks begin with phishing or social engineering.

  • Nearly 60% of people reuse passwords across multiple accounts.

  • Around 70% of security incidents involve some form of human error.

  • More than half of internet users have not enabled multi-factor authentication on their most important accounts.

Babers believes those numbers show that cybersecurity is no longer just an IT issue.

“Every online account, every mobile device, and every email inbox is part of your personal security,” he says. “The habits you develop every day matter more than most people realise.”

The Mistake People Keep Making

One of the most common misconceptions Babers sees is the belief that installing security software is enough.

“Technology helps,” he explains. “But software can’t replace good judgement.”

He says many people unknowingly create unnecessary risk by reusing passwords, delaying software updates, or clicking on links without taking a moment to verify where they came from.

“Cybercriminals don’t always break into systems,” Babers says. “Many times, they’re invited in because someone trusted the wrong email or reused the wrong password.”

A Simple Cybersecurity Self-Check

Take a few minutes to answer these questions honestly.

  • Do you use a different password for your most important online accounts?

  • Have you enabled multi-factor authentication on your email and banking accounts?

  • Do you regularly install updates on your phone and computer?

  • Would you recognise the warning signs of a phishing email or text message?

  • Do you know what you would do if one of your online accounts was compromised?

  • Have you reviewed your online security settings within the past year?

  • Do you regularly back up your important files?

  • Are you careful before clicking unexpected links or downloading attachments?

What Your Answers Mean

If you answered yes to most of the questions, you have built strong habits that reduce your exposure to common cyber threats. Continue reviewing your accounts and stay informed as technology changes.

If you answered yes to about half of them, you already have a good foundation, but there are still opportunities to strengthen your security. Focus first on creating unique passwords and enabling multi-factor authentication wherever it is available.

If you answered no to most of the questions, now is a good time to take action. Start with your email account, update your passwords, enable additional account protection, and make sure your devices are running the latest software.

What to Do Next

Babers recommends focusing on a few practical habits rather than trying to solve everything at once.

Start by replacing any passwords that are reused across multiple accounts. Turn on multi-factor authentication for your email and financial accounts. Keep your devices updated, and pause before opening unexpected emails, text messages, or links.

“Security isn’t about becoming an expert,” Babers says. “It’s about slowing down long enough to make better decisions.”

He also encourages people to have conversations about online safety with family members, especially those who may be less familiar with today’s digital threats.

“One simple conversation can prevent a serious problem,” he says. “Awareness is still one of the strongest forms of protection we have.”

Call to Action

Take this self-check today and identify one cybersecurity habit you can improve this week. Then share it with a friend or family member. Small changes made consistently can significantly reduce your risk and help create safer online habits for everyone.
