Decades of Manufacturing Experience

Novell has been a quiet powerhouse in the wedding ring industry since it was founded in 1987.

The company built its reputation on reliable manufacturing, high-quality styling, and a willingness to customize pieces for local jewelry stores. They manufacture all of their precious metal bands right in New Jersey.

Over the years, Novell expanded its reach by acquiring several other well-respected jewelry brands, including Lowell, Wright & Lato, and Lieberfarb. This allowed the company to offer a much wider variety of fashion designs and award-winning bridal concepts.

In 2019, the brand took a major step forward by merging with Continental Jewellery Manufacturing Ltd.

Working together gave Novell the ability to infuse a very distinct, elegant flair into its product lines while keeping prices competitive.

What Buyers Will See at Booth PC-180

Retailers visiting the Novell booth at this year’s JCK Show will see collections heavily focused on everyday durability, comfort, and realistic price points.

The team at Novell spent the last year analyzing market demands to figure out exactly what modern couples want when shopping for wedding jewelry.

Here is a breakdown of what Novell is bringing to Las Vegas for 2026:

Textured Stackable Bands for Women

Consumers love having options that let them change up their look. Novell’s new textured stackable bands act as the perfect starting point for a growing jewelry collection.

By mixing different metal finishes, wearers can add instant depth to their daily style.

The appeal here is total versatility. A customer can stack three or four rings high on a single finger for a chunky, bold look, or spread them out across the hand for a more delicate vibe.

Affordable Lightweight Electroform Classics

The classic half-round wedding band is a staple that never goes out of style. Novell took this traditional shape and upgraded it using a modern electroform manufacturing process.

The result is a ring that offers the visual weight and reliable durability of a classic band, but feels exceptionally lightweight on the finger.

These rings are incredibly comfortable for all-day wear and carry a much lower price tag than heavy cast rings. They are available for both men and women.

Women’s Open Wedding Rings

Open wedding bands, often referred to as open cuffs, provide a highly practical and modern alternative to a traditional closed circle ring. The design features a slight gap at the top.

The open space allows the band to easily contour around bulky or unusually shaped engagement ring settings, creating a seamless look.

Many buyers also connect with the deeper message behind the design: two people coming together while still leaving a little room for personal growth.

Men’s All-Tantalum Wedding Bands

Dark metal rings continue to dominate the men’s bridal market. Novell is introducing an expanded line of solid tantalum wedding bands to meet this high demand.

Tantalum features a sleek, gunmetal-grey color that appeals to guys looking for something slightly different than traditional white gold or platinum. It is highly resistant to scratches and everyday wear.

These pure tantalum bands are priced aggressively, starting at just $750 MSRP, making them an easy sell at retail trunk shows.

Unique Men’s Wedding Bands with Details and Engravings

Standard polished rings are great, but many grooms want a ring with a bit more personality. Novell is showcasing men’s bands featuring distinctive engraved details and custom finishes.

When a ring has a unique pattern, it naturally catches the eye. If a groom’s friends ask about his interesting ring, it acts as everyday word-of-mouth marketing for the independent jewelry store that sold it.

Mixing Tantalum with 14kt Gold

To push the dark metal trend even further, Novell is blending dark tantalum with the warm tones of 14kt yellow gold. The contrast between the two metals is incredibly striking.

The design team gave the gold a modern edge by incorporating distinct textures like cross-hatch patterns, twisted ropes, and hammered finishes.

These two-tone bands offer the extreme durability of tantalum alongside the classic luxury of gold, all at a price that fits comfortably within modern wedding budgets.

10kt Gold Budget-Friendly Options

Affordability is a major factor for many couples. 10kt gold provides a durable option for customers who have active lifestyles or work with their hands. It has a slightly more rugged look and costs noticeably less than 14k or 18k gold.

Novell has almost all of its styles available in 10kt gold so that retailers never have to turn away a customer due to strict budget limits.

JCK Show Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the JCK Show?

The JCK Show is the largest and most trusted global trade event for the jewelry industry. Held annually in Las Vegas, it brings together over 30,000 professionals, including buyers, designers, and manufacturers, to network and discover new trends in gems, finished jewelry, and technology.

Where can I find Novell Global at the JCK Show?

Novell Global will be exhibiting inside the Plumb Club pavilion at Booth PC-180.

What is a tantalum wedding band?

Tantalum is a rare, dense, and highly durable metal with a sleek, dark gunmetal-grey color. It is highly resistant to scratching and corrosion, making it an incredibly popular choice for men’s wedding bands. It is also hypoallergenic.

What does “electroform” mean in jewelry?

Electroform is a specialized manufacturing process that builds up layers of precious metal over a mold. This technique allows jewelers to create thick, bold, and classic ring shapes that remain hollow inside, making the final piece incredibly lightweight, comfortable, and more affordable than solid cast rings.

Why does Novelloffer 10kt gold wedding bands?

10kt gold contains a lower percentage of pure gold mixed with stronger alloy metals. This makes the ring significantly harder and more resistant to bending or scratching compared to 14kt or 18kt gold. It is a budget-friendly option for people with hands-on jobs or highly active lifestyles.

What is an open wedding ring?

An open wedding ring, or open cuff, is a band that does not form a complete circle, leaving a small gap at the top. This design allows the band to slide easily around low-setting engagement rings so both rings sit flush against each other. It also provides a little extra flexibility if your finger size fluctuates.

PSI Mud Agitators Engineered to Prevent Shaft Deflection

Published

on

Houston, TX, United States, 16th Sep 2026 — Process Solutions International (PSI) builds its MAX2000 mud agitators around a drop bearing design created specifically to handle the shaft deflection that occurs in deep tanks, a problem that shortens the service life of agitators built without this feature. The design lets crews maintain the bearing from the top side of the tank instead of draining or entering the vessel.

Solving a Deep Tank Problem

PSI’s mud agitators use a rugged drop bearing casting that bolts directly to the top of the tank without requiring an additional supporting structure. Oversized high-capacity taper roller bearings absorb the radial and axial loads that come off the impeller shaft, and the units use common output flange dimensions so operators can drop in a replacement at an existing installation without reworking the tank. Every agitator is built around a reinforced cast iron gear case housing helical bevel gearing, with gears precision ground and hardened to keep backlash low and let thermal capacity exceed torque capacity. A sight glass lets an operator check lubrication levels without removing any components, and a keyless bushing gives a full range of impeller depth settings on the shaft.

Built for Hazardous Locations Worldwide

PSI configures its motor and gearbox combinations to meet UL, ATEX, and IECEx requirements, so the same agitator platform can be installed in classified hazardous areas across the United States, the Middle East, and other international markets without a separate design for each region. Operators can also choose between hydrofoil impellers, which move fluid in an axial flow, or canted blade impellers, which produce a combined radial and axial flow, in either carbon or stainless steel.

“Shaft deflection is one of the most common reasons agitators fail early in deep tank service. We engineered the drop bearing specifically to solve that problem and to be serviced from the top, without asking a crew to enter a tank,” said Kye Keliehor, representative of Process Solutions International.

PSI has been designing and manufacturing its mud agitators alongside its centrifugal and progressive cavity pump lines since 1991.

About Process Solutions International

Process Solutions International (PSI) has been manufacturing industrial equipment since 1991. Based in Houston, Texas, with a secondary location in Midland, Texas, PSI designs and builds pumps, mud agitators, gas management systems, material handling equipment, and cleaning and filtration systems for the oil and gas, construction, mining, and industrial sectors. PSI holds ISO 9001, UL, ATEX and IECEx, and CEMA certifications and operates the MAX2000, MAKDADDY, and vAK product brands.

IR-MED and Dice Technologies Announce collaboration to Evaluate and Advance Pressure-Injury Prevention Platform in Japan

Published

on

Rosh Pinna, Israel, September 16th, 2026, FinanceWire

  • Letter of Intent (“LOI”) signed to cooperate in the evaluation, research support, localization, commercialization preparation and regulatory preparation of the PressureSafe™ medical device in Japan.
  • Collaboration addresses a significant potential market need in Japan, which includes more than 36 million people aged 65 and older and approximately 8,000 hospitals, 13,600 long-term care facilities, and 16,000+ home-visit nursing stations.
  • Strategic collaboration combines IR-MED’s infrared spectroscopy technology and proprietary algorithm with Dice Technologies’ capabilities in coordinating clinical evaluation, localization and regulatory preparation activities in Japan.
  • Clinical research and evidence-generation activities are expected to include cooperation with the Department of Plastic Surgery at Kobe University, subject to required ethics review, institutional approvals and separate written arrangements.

IR-MED Ltd. (OTC: IRME) (the “Company” or “IR-Med”), developer of infrared spectroscopy-based medical device technology,, and Dice Technologies Co., Ltd., a leading Japanese healthcare digital transformation and medical IT provider, today announced the signing of a LOI. The LOI sets forth a framework for the parties to cooperate in the evaluation, research support, localization, commercialization preparation and regulatory preparation of IR-MED’s PressureSafe™ device for the Japanese market. Except for certain provisions relating to confidentiality and data protection, intellectual property rights, and device management, return and disposal, the LOI is not intended to create legally binding obligations between the parties.

Ultimately, the partnership is driven by a shared, transformative vision: Build pressure-injury prevention platform — device, AI, and EHR systems unified across hospitals, LTC, and home care nation wide

The parties intend to evaluate PressureSafe™ for use in hospitals, long-term care facilities and home healthcare settings in Japan, with a focus on supporting the assessment of early signs of pressure injuries.

PressureSafe™ is a medical device that uses infrared technology to support the assessment of early changes associated with pressure injuries and skin conditions. It provides real-time, on-site, non-thermal and blood-flow-related indicators intended to support, and not replace, the clinical judgment of nurses and physicians. PressureSafe™ combines infrared spectroscopy with a proprietary algorithm and is intended to support the assessment of early signs of pressure injuries.

Market Need in Japan

Japan is facing an unprecedented demographic and systemic challenge. With an aging population of 36.19 million individuals aged 65 and older (29.4% of the total population), national care expenditures have reached a record ¥11.94 trillion. Concurrently, the healthcare sector is bracing for a projected shortage of hundreds of thousands of nurses and approximately 300,000 care workers.

This convergence of an aging population and severe workforce shortages has driven a significant increase in the prevalence of pressure injuries—particularly in the rapidly growing home care sector, which reports a 1.93% prevalence rate. To address this, Japan requires scalable, technology-assisted care solutions across its approximately 8,000 hospitals (1.2 million beds), 13,600 long-term care facilities (1.0 million residents), and 18,042 home-visit nursing agencies.

A complementary Strategic Synergy

The collaboration between IR-MED and Dice Technologies represents a highly complementary alignment of technological innovation and domestic operational mastery.

  • The Technology & Science Engine (IR-MED): IR-MED brings its proprietary PressureSafe™ sensors, predictive AI algorithms, and a foundation of global clinical data. The technology addresses the crucial “Layer 1” of early risk assessment—sub-epidermal tissue health—providing objective metrics to a field that has historically relied on subjective visual observation.
  • The Domestic Commercial & Integration Leader (Dice Technologies): Dice Technologies will lead and coordinate the evaluation program in Japan. Leveraging an established nationwide footprint serving over 1,000 clinics well-distributed across Japan, Dice Technologies will support Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (“PMDA”) consultation preparation and regulatory communications in Japan.. Crucially, Dice Technologies bridges the gap between device and daily workflow by integrating PressureSafe™ data into its existing CareNest platform and domestic Electronic Health Records (“EHR” ), creating a seamless data flow from the hospital to the patient’s home.

Phased Rollout and Clinical Validation

The partnership will execute a highly structured, reverse L-shaped Go-to-Market strategy. The initial phase will focus on real-world evaluations in long-term care (“LTC”) and home-visit settings to generate clinical utility data and user feedback.

Simultaneously, the partners will advance rigorous clinical research and PMDA consultation to support the regulatory pathway for PressureSafe™ in Japan. This validation process will be bolstered by anticipated cooperation with Japanese clinical leaders, including the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Kobe University, subject to required ethics review, institutional approvals and separate written arrangements.

Executive Commentary

Ken Ishiga, President and Representative Director of Dice Technologies Co., Ltd., stated, “Japan’s care crisis cannot be solved with isolated tools. We must unify prevention, observation, and discharge support. By combining IR-MED’s extraordinary ‘sensing the invisible’ technology with our EHR integrations and CareNest platform, we are delivering on our shared vision to build a continuous, patient-centered care infrastructure that supports our overstretched healthcare workforce over the long term.”

“Entering the Japanese market requires more than just groundbreaking technology; it requires a deep integration into the local care ecosystem. In Dice Technologies, we have found the perfect partner,” said Dr. Yaniv Cohen, Interim CEO and Chief Scientific Officer of IR-MED. “Their expertise in medical IT, their impressive footprint serving over 1,000 care facilities, and their ability to navigate PMDA regulations make them the ideal catalyst for PressureSafe™. Together, we are not just evaluating a device; we are working toward a new national standard for objective, preventive care.”
