Hamburg World Humanitarian Day Event Honours Everyday Service and the People Who Step Forward to Help
Church of Scientology Hamburg recognises three individuals for humanitarian commitment while presenting practical tools used by Scientology Volunteer Ministers in communities and emergency settings worldwide
Brussels, Belgium, 27th Aug 2026 — Humanitarian action is often associated with large-scale emergencies and international relief operations, but an event held at the Church of Scientology Hamburg placed attention on another essential part of the humanitarian landscape: individuals who decide to help where they are, using their time, skills and personal commitment to support others.

Organised to mark World Humanitarian Day, the gathering brought together participants at the Church of Scientology in Hamburg for an evening dedicated to people who assist others in difficult circumstances. A central moment was the recognition of three individuals for their particular commitment to their fellow human beings, highlighting the role that personal initiative can play alongside the work of established humanitarian organisations.
World Humanitarian Day is observed every 19 August. The United Nations established the observance following the 2003 bombing of the UN headquarters at Baghdad’s Canal Hotel, in which 22 humanitarian workers were killed. It has since developed into the annual flagship campaign of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, focusing public attention on the dignity and needs of people affected by crises and on the protection of those who assist them. The 2026 campaign, under the theme #ActForHumanity, has again placed particular emphasis on the safety of humanitarian personnel.
UN Secretary-General António Guterres noted in his 2026 message that more than 1,000 humanitarian workers had been killed during the previous three years, with local personnel serving their own communities making up the majority. Against that international background, the Hamburg programme explored humanitarianism from the perspective of civic responsibility closer to home: noticing when someone needs assistance and being prepared to do something practical about it.
From willingness to help to practical skills
The Hamburg event included a presentation of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers programme, a religious social-service initiative developed in the mid-1970s by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. Its guiding principle is expressed in the motto “Something can be done about it.”
Rather than restricting humanitarian involvement to disaster response, the programme trains volunteers in practical approaches intended for both emergencies and problems encountered in everyday life. Subjects presented through the programme include communication, organisation, coping with stressful circumstances, resolving conflicts and addressing personal, family and workplace difficulties.
Participants in Hamburg were introduced to several of these areas. The programme also included a screening from the Tools for Life audiovisual series dealing with “Assists for Illnesses and Injuries,” followed by a practical application of what had been demonstrated. The focus of the presentation was not professional medical treatment, but the Volunteer Ministers’ broader emphasis on providing personal support and practical assistance when another person is experiencing difficulty.
Volunteer Ministers work both within their local communities and in larger emergency operations. Internationally, they have supported relief efforts and collaborated with civil-society organisations, emergency services and public authorities. The international programme reports cooperation with approximately 2,800 organisations and agencies, while the Hamburg presentation referenced experience alongside bodies including Red Cross organisations, the Salvation Army, Scout and Rotary groups, civil-protection services, police and firefighters.
This cooperative model reflects a practical feature of many modern humanitarian responses: volunteers from different religions, organisations and professional backgrounds frequently work alongside one another when a community faces a common need.
Recognising the people behind humanitarian action
The presentation in Hamburg culminated in the recognition of three people whose personal commitment to others was singled out during the event.
Rather than portraying humanitarianism exclusively through distant crises, their recognition underlined a theme running through the programme: communities also depend on people who notice difficulties around them and choose to contribute their abilities, time or experience.
That local dimension is particularly relevant in Europe, where volunteer associations, faith communities, neighbourhood organisations and other civil-society bodies remain an important complement to public services. Their activities range from assisting vulnerable people and supporting social inclusion to responding when unexpected difficulties affect individuals or communities.
Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to the European Union, OSCE, Council of Europe and United Nations, said:
“World Humanitarian Day reminds Europe that solidarity is not only an institutional responsibility; it is also a civic habit. Human rights and human dignity become tangible when somebody sees another person facing difficulty and chooses not to remain indifferent. Recognising people who quietly dedicate time and ability to others strengthens the culture of responsibility on which open and democratic societies depend. L. Ron Hubbard’s proposition that ‘Something can be done about it’ expresses a simple idea with broad relevance: confronted with a problem, an individual can decide to become part of the help.”
The Hamburg gathering also reflected the approach established by Hubbard when developing the Volunteer Ministers programme: helping is not regarded as the exclusive domain of specialists. The programme was created to equip Scientologists and people of other backgrounds with practical methods they can use when seeking to assist another person. Volunteer Ministers have subsequently taken part in community programmes and humanitarian responses in numerous countries.
For the Church of Scientology Hamburg, the World Humanitarian Day event therefore served two related purposes: acknowledging those already providing help and examining how practical skills can strengthen a person’s ability to respond when others need support.
The three awards presented during the event provided a human-scale conclusion to a day whose international observance normally confronts some of the most demanding humanitarian situations in the world. In Hamburg, the emphasis was on a principle that connects those very different settings: humanitarian action ultimately depends on people prepared to take responsibility for the well-being and dignity of others.
The Church of Scientology was founded on the religious philosophy developed by author and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard. Churches, missions, groups and individual Scientologists are present throughout the European continent and support a range of community initiatives encompassing humanitarian assistance, human-rights education, drug-prevention education and other programmes aimed at community betterment.
The Church’s legal recognition as a religion, and in several jurisdictions as a tax-exempt, public-benefit or charitable religious body, has continued to develop through judicial and administrative decisions in Europe. Scientology is formally recognised as a religion in countries including Spain, Portugal and Sweden, while the Church in the Netherlands received public-benefit religious status in 2022. European Court of Human Rights judgments have additionally affirmed the religious-freedom rights of Scientology churches and their members under the European Convention on Human Rights.
Through these churches and associated programmes, Scientologists continue to participate in initiatives centred on education, prevention, humanitarian service, human rights and practical community support.

Press Release
Tradoshi Ltd Releases Its AI-Assisted Trading Journal on Android
Tradoshi Ltd has released an Android version of Tradoshi, its trading journal and AI coaching application, on Google Play alongside the existing web application. The app records a pre-session check-in, monitors user-set rules and synchronises trades from connected brokers.
London, England, United Kingdom, 27th Aug 2026 – Tradoshi Ltd today announced that Tradoshi, its trading journal and artificial intelligence coaching application, is now available on Android through Google Play, alongside the web application the company already operates.

The Android release brings to a phone the features previously available on the web only: the pre-session check-in, the rule monitoring, the discipline score and the reports. The application requires Android 7.0 or later and uses the same account as the web application, so a session can be prepared on a phone and reviewed later on a desktop computer.
Tradoshi organises its features around three moments of a trading day: preparation before the session, monitoring during the session, and review once positions are closed. The company describes that structure, rather than post-session review alone, as the design principle of the product.
Preparation: check-in and suggested position size
Before a session, a user completes a short written or dictated check-in. The coaching engine reads that check-in, combines it with the results recently recorded on the account, and returns a written recommendation for the day, including a suggested position size derived from those recent results rather than a fixed share of capital. The recommendation is guidance, and the trader decides whether to follow it. Declared emotional state is stored as an ordinary field of the journal and can be analysed alongside the instrument traded, the session and the time of day. An economic calendar is shown on the same screen.
The features in this section are intended to address behaviours the company set out to make visible: increasing position size after a losing streak, opening a new position immediately after a stop is hit, and trading outside the hours a trader has set for themselves. Tradoshi does not prevent any of these actions. It records them, signals them and reports on them.
Monitoring during the session
During the session, Tradoshi compares the connected account with the rules the trader has configured: a maximum number of consecutive losses, a maximum daily loss expressed as a share of capital, permitted trading windows, position size, and the presence of a stop loss on each position. When a rule is approached or breached, an alert is issued in the application, by email and through Telegram. Monitoring runs on the company servers, so alerts are sent whether or not the application is open. Each alert is stored in a history that can be reviewed later.
Scores and reports
The dashboard displays an Oshi Score, a figure out of one hundred computed across six axes: win rate, profit factor, average win against average loss, recovery factor, drawdown control and consistency. It is a panel of the dashboard, recalculated as new positions are synchronised, and is not sent as a notification. A separate discipline score measures how closely the trader followed the rules they configured, rule by rule and day by day, and is computed from executed positions rather than from a declaration by the trader. A rule that was never configured is not scored, so two traders can hold the same score against different sets of rules.
The journal produces more than five hundred reports, covering net profit and loss, R multiple, expectancy, maximum drawdown, the equity curve, maximum favourable and adverse excursion on each position, and results broken down by instrument, by session and by day of the week. A trade review screen replays each closed position on the chart, with entry, stop and target marked.
Broker connections
Trades reach the journal without manual entry. Tradoshi covers more than 2,000 brokers through MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, across more than 3,000 live servers, and more than 100 further brokers and platforms through a direct application programming interface outside MetaTrader, among them cTrader, TradeLocker, DXtrade, Interactive Brokers, NinjaTrader, IG and a set of cryptocurrency exchanges. The two counts are not additive, since a broker can appear in both. The exact figures and the counting rule are published, kept up to date and verifiable at https://tradoshi.com/en/supported-brokers-list, alongside a document recording how the count is established. Manual entry and file import remain available for brokers that are not connected, with import profiles for the file formats those brokers export. Connected accounts are read in order to import closed positions and account state, and Tradoshi does not place orders on a connected account.
Proprietary trading firm accounts
Tradoshi tracks challenge and evaluation accounts separately from personal capital, follows the progress of a funding path, and applies the rules of an evaluation as they are configured for each firm: the profit target, the maximum daily loss, the overall drawdown and the minimum number of trading days. Those accounts are not mixed into the personal equity of the trader, and each evaluation keeps its own set of rules, so a trader running several at once sees them side by side. Where a rule value has not been recorded for a firm, the product states that the value is unknown rather than displaying no limit.
Company research on the trading journal market
On 3 August 2026 the company published its own study of the trading journal market, available at https://tradoshi.com/en/research. The study adds up fifteen identified vendors one by one to establish a measured floor of 33 million US dollars in annual revenue, and puts forward an estimate of 55 million US dollars for the market as a whole. It also reports that, after examining the catalogues of eighteen research publishers, its authors found no published report covering this specific market, and that the larger figures returned by search engines belong to three unrelated markets that share the word journal. These findings come from research carried out by the company itself and have not been reviewed by an independent research firm.
“Most traders already keep a record of what they did last month,” said Benjamin Roure L’Hermitte, founder of Tradoshi. “What we set out to build is a product that puts that same information in front of them before the session starts, on a phone, rather than only once positions are closed.”
“We also publish our own measurements, including the ones that do not flatter us,” he added. “The August study states plainly that we found no research publisher measuring this sector, and it sets out the method rather than asking anyone to take the result on trust.”
Guidance by trader situation
Tradoshi presents different material depending on the situation a trader declares. A trader who is losing money is shown a breakdown of losses by recorded behaviour rather than by instrument alone. A trader whose results have plateaued is given a routine and a consistency target to measure against. A trader who is already profitable is shown risk-consistency metrics and the effect of a change in position size on their recorded risk profile.
Documentation
The company publishes a glossary of the indicators used in the product, stating for each one the formula applied and how the result should be read. It is public and requires no account: https://tradoshi.com/en/glossary. A learning path, Oshi Academy, presents the same material in a suggested order.
Replay, mentoring and languages
Tradoshi includes a market replay function, currently in beta, which allows a strategy to be tested candle by candle on historical data, with positions recorded and measured using the same statistics as the journal. A mentoring mode allows a trader to invite a coach or a mentor into their journal, at no cost to the person invited. The application is bilingual in English and French, including its reports and its exported documents.
Availability and pricing
The web application is available at https://tradoshi.com and the Android application on Google Play at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tradoshi.app. An iOS version is planned; no build has been submitted and no release date has been announced.
Tradoshi offers a plan free of charge, with no time limit and no payment card required at registration. It carries one automatically synchronised broker account, unlimited file import, manual entry, the journal and its reports, the Oshi Score and the discipline score. Additional broker accounts and the Oshi coaching engine belong to the paid plans, whose complete schedule is published at https://tradoshi.com/en/pricing.
Trading carries a risk of loss. Tradoshi is a record-keeping and analysis tool and does not provide investment advice.

Press Release
Trade8 Expands Funded Trading Evaluation Lineup to Four Programs With New Futures Track
The four-program lineup now spans two-phase, single-phase, immediately-funded and futures evaluation formats, with each program’s complete rule book published before purchase.
Plovdiv, Bulgaria, 27th Aug 2026 — Trade8, a multi-asset proprietary trading platform operated by EU-registered Noga one EOOD, has expanded its funded trading evaluation lineup to four programs with the addition of a futures evaluation track.

Alongside the expansion, the company has standardized a single disclosure policy across the entire line: the complete rulebook of every program is published before purchase.
The expansion follows the recent launch of the platform’s micro-futures instruments. The lineup now covers two-phase, single-phase, immediately-funded and futures-specific evaluation formats.
“Know the rules before you pay — that is the standard we build to,” a Trade8 spokesperson said. “A trader should be able to read every limit, in real dollar amounts, before spending anything.”
The Four Programs
The lineup consists of four evaluation structures:
- 2-Step — a two-phase evaluation with progressive profit targets of 8% and 5%, a 5% daily loss limit and a 10% maximum drawdown. Entry fees start at $39 for a $5,000 account.
- 1-Step — a single-phase evaluation with a 10% profit target, a 4% daily loss limit and a 6% maximum drawdown.
- Instant — an account that starts funded, with a first-payout target of 8% and the same 4% daily and 6% maximum limits applied from the start.
- Futures — a single-phase evaluation on micro futures contracts — Micro Gold (MGC), Micro Crude Oil (MCL) and Micro S&P 500 (MES) — using futures-industry conventions: an end-of-day trailing loss limit of 4%, a 3% daily loss limit, a total-contracts cap, a mandatory daily flat time and fixed per-contract margins. Fees start at $69 for a $25,000 account.
Account sizes across the line range from $5,000 to $200,000. Funded accounts can grow at published performance milestones — capped at $4 million — with profit splits that increase at defined scaling steps.
Trade8 states that its evaluation programs are simulated trading assessments. The purpose is to evaluate trading performance under defined conditions rather than to represent the execution of live market orders with customer capital.
A Published-Rules Policy
According to the company, every program’s page displays the complete rule set for the selected account size before checkout — profit targets, daily loss limits, maximum drawdown, minimum trading days, consistency requirements, leverage and profit split.
The figures are shown in real dollar amounts rather than percentages alone.
The policy is a response to a recurring criticism across the funded-trading sector, where conditions discovered only after a rule breach are a frequent source of trader disputes.
Two mechanics receive dedicated plain-language explanations on the platform, because they are the ones most often misunderstood.
The trailing drawdown: on standard programs, the maximum-loss floor follows the account’s peak equity and locks at the starting balance once the account is sufficiently in profit. The purchase page shows the actual dollar figures for the chosen size — where the floor starts, how it moves and where it locks.
The end-of-day trailing limit on futures: the futures program applies the futures industry’s own convention. The loss floor updates once per daily rollover based on the highest end-of-day balance, only ever rises, and locks permanently at the starting balance. Intraday peaks never move it. The platform states this distinction explicitly before purchase.
The same disclosure applies to the consistency rule, minimum trading days, and the futures-specific contract cap and daily close time.
Resets and Time Limits
A breached challenge can be reset for the same model and size at a 40% discount from the original list fee. The reset price is always calculated from the original fee.
The programs carry no time limits: evaluations measure performance against the published rules without a deadline.
Payouts
Eligible traders who reach the applicable payout conditions can receive cryptocurrency payouts with on-chain transaction records, providing a verifiable settlement trail.
Education and Language Support
Alongside the published rulebooks, Trade8 operates a structured trading academy and an AI-powered coaching experience through Claude, the AI assistant built by Anthropic. Traders can ask for any rule to be explained in plain language, before or after purchase.
The platform operates in eleven languages.
