All Family Pharmacy Highlights Emerging Research on Sildenafil’s Potential Beyond Erectile Dysfunction
New studies continue to explore sildenafil’s role in cancer research, adding to growing scientific interest in the well-known medication.
United States, 7th Aug 2026 — Sildenafil has long been recognized as a trusted treatment for erectile dysfunction, but researchers are increasingly investigating whether the medication may have applications beyond its traditional use. Recent scientific studies have examined sildenafil’s effects on cancer cells, particularly in colorectal cancer, where researchers have identified mechanisms suggesting the drug may interfere with cholesterol metabolism and cellular processes involved in tumor growth and metastasis.

One recently published study found that PDE5 inhibitors such as sildenafil disrupted cholesterol trafficking within cancer cells by affecting the NPC1 cholesterol transport pathway, reducing the availability of cholesterol needed for cancer cell migration and metastasis. Researchers also observed that combining sildenafil with statins produced additive anti-metastatic effects in preclinical models, though they emphasized that additional clinical research is needed before these findings could translate into standard patient care.
Earlier laboratory research likewise demonstrated that sildenafil inhibited the growth of human colorectal cancer cells in both cell culture and animal models by promoting cell-cycle arrest and programmed cell death. While promising, these findings remain preclinical, and sildenafil is not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as a treatment for cancer.
“Medicine is constantly evolving, and one of the most exciting areas of research is discovering new therapeutic possibilities for medications that physicians have safely prescribed for years,” said a spokesperson for All Family Pharmacy. “While sildenafil should not be viewed as a cancer treatment, it’s encouraging to see researchers continue exploring its potential in new areas.”
All Family Pharmacy offers physician-guided access to sildenafil through its secure telehealth platform. Patients complete an online medical questionnaire that is reviewed by a licensed physician, and if medically appropriate, prescriptions are delivered directly to the patient’s home.
Patients interested in sildenafil for its FDA-approved indications can learn more or begin the physician review process by visiting AllFamilyPharmacy.com.

Physician Crafted Introduces a More Intentional, Transparent Approach to Everyday Supplementation
Physician-founded brand prioritizes transparent formulas and everyday usability.
United States, 7th Aug 2026— Physician Crafted, a physician-formulated supplement company focused on transparency, intentional formulation and everyday usability, today announced the launch and continued expansion of its wellness collection. Founded by Jeffrey Macievic, MD, the brand was created to make supplementation feel more understandable, purposeful and trustworthy for consumers navigating an increasingly crowded wellness industry.
The right Ingredients
In the right form
At the right dose
For the right purpose
The current collection includes Clean Creatine, Total Collagen, Everyday Electrolytes and Performance Electrolytes. Each product is developed around a defined wellness purpose, clearly disclosed ingredient amounts and a formulation philosophy informed by scientific research and the practical needs of real people.
Physician Crafted was established in response to a common frustration within the supplement industry: consumers are often presented with complicated labels, overwhelming product choices and marketing messages that make it difficult to determine what a product contains, why each ingredient is included and whether the formula aligns with their goals. “Consumers should not need a medical degree to understand what is in their supplements or why it is there,” said Jeffrey Macievic, MD, founder of Physician Crafted. “We created Physician Crafted to provide
clear, thoughtfully formulated products with purposeful ingredients, transparent amounts and a standard of quality people can understand.”A Physician-Informed Formulation Philosophy
Physician Crafted takes its name directly from the brand’s founding principle: its formulas are developed with the involvement and oversight of an actual physician.
For Dr. Macievic, creating a supplement brand was not about following the latest wellness trend or introducing products with unnecessarily long ingredient lists. It was about applying a more disciplined and intentional approach to formulation. “We created Physician Crafted to provide
clear, thoughtfully formulated products with purposeful ingredients, transparent amounts and a standard of quality people can trust.” said Dr. Macievic.
Every ingredient should have a reason for being included. Every amount should be clearly stated. Every product should fit into a realistic routine. The company’s approach is rooted in evaluating the purpose of a formula as a whole rather than simply combining popular ingredients for marketing appeal. Physician Crafted products are designed to provide straightforward options for supporting hydration, exercise performance, recovery, healthy aging and everyday wellness.
The brand also avoids proprietary blends that prevent consumers from seeing the specific amount of each ingredient. Instead, product labels are designed to communicate what is included and how much is present, giving customers greater visibility into the formulas they use.
“Transparency is not an added benefit. It should be the expectation,” Dr. Macievic said. “People deserve to know what they are putting into their bodies and to understand the reasoning behind the products they
choose.”
A Growing Collection Designed for Everyday Life
Clean Creatine features fully soluble micronized creatine monohydrate in a straightforward formula. It was developed for customers who want a simple product without unnecessary additions. Its micronized format is designed to mix easily into water, smoothies or other beverages, making it convenient to incorporate into a daily routine. Total Collagen was created as a comprehensive approach to daily collagen supplementation. Each serving provides 15 grams of collagen alongside vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, glucosamine, fucoidan and inulin.
The formula brings together ingredients commonly associated with skin, joint and connective tissue support in one daily product. Rather than treating collagen as a standalone trend, Physician Crafted approached the category by considering how complementary ingredients could contribute to a more complete formula.
Everyday Electrolytes is designed for daily hydration needs, including busy workdays, travel, light exercise and warm-weather activity. The formula includes sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iodine, trace minerals and inulin. The product was created for consumers who want more than flavored water but may not need a high-intensity sports hydration formula every day. Its electrolyte profile is intended to make it suitable for consistent use as part of a healthy hydration routine.
Performance Electrolytes offers a higher-electrolyte formula for more demanding activities, including intense workouts, endurance training, outdoor exercise and situations involving increased fluid loss. The formula includes 800 milligrams of sodium, 400 milligrams of potassium, 150 milligrams of calcium and 100 milligrams of magnesium per serving, along with iodine, trace minerals and inulin.
By offering both Everyday and Performance electrolyte options, Physician Crafted allows customers to select a formula based on the level of activity and hydration support that best fits their needs.
Raising Expectations for Supplement Transparency
Consumer interest in supplements has grown as more people take an active role in their wellness, fitness and healthy-aging routines. At the same time, the expansion of the category has made it increasingly difficult for consumers to separate meaningful formulation decisions from trends, vague promises and visually compelling marketing.
Physician Crafted believes the future of the supplement industry should be built around greater
transparency, better education and more responsible communication. That means avoiding exaggerated promises and helping consumers understand that supplements are intended to complement, not replace, a balanced diet, appropriate medical care, movement, sleep and other foundational wellness practices.“There is no single powder, capsule or ingredient that replaces the fundamentals of health,” Dr. Macievic said. “Our goal is to create well-considered products that can support those fundamentals and make it easier for people to remain consistent with the routines that matter to them.”
Quality and Testing
Quality control is a central part of the Physician Crafted product development process. The company works with qualified manufacturing partners and incorporates third-party laboratory testing as part of its commitment to product quality and accountability.
Testing and manufacturing standards are especially important in an industry where consumers cannot always evaluate product quality by looking at packaging alone. Physician Crafted aims to give customers confidence not only in the ingredients listed on the label but also in the standards used to bring each product to market.
Building a More Understandable Wellness Brand
Beyond its products, Physician Crafted is developing an educational platform centered on evidence-informed wellness information. Through articles, clinical insights, social content and physician-led education, the brand plans to address common questions about supplementation in a practical and approachable way.
The goal is not to overwhelm consumers with technical language. Instead, Physician Crafted intends to translate complex wellness topics into information people can use when making informed decisions for themselves and their families. The company also plans to continue growing its product collection while maintaining a selective approach to development. New products will be introduced based on a clear consumer need and a defined formulation rationale rather than the pressure to release products simply because an ingredient or category is trending.
“We are building this brand for the long term,” Dr. Macievic said. “That requires listening to consumers, maintaining high standards and being willing to explain not only what we formulate, but why. “
