These hands-on, skill-enhancing classes will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on January 13 – 14, 15 – 16 and 17 – 18, providing participants with an intensive learning experience that will refine their wheel-throwing techniques and expand their approach to creating large, challenging ceramic forms.
Mastering Wheel-Throwing Techniques with Eric Landon
The TORTUS masterclass, taught entirely in English, is designed specifically for individuals who already have foundational skills in wheel-throwing and are eager to take their craft to the next level. This immersive class offers a unique opportunity to learn directly from Eric Landon, a celebrated ceramicist widely recognized for his mastery of form, precision, and craftsmanship in ceramics. Participants will gain hands-on experience as they practice under Eric’s expert guidance, who will be present throughout both days, providing real-time demonstrations and feedback on the participants’ work.
Focused Demonstrations and Hands-On Practice
Each day of the masterclass begins with morning demonstrations led by Eric Landon. He will introduce participants to a variety of advanced wheel-throwing techniques designed to enhance both efficiency and precision in handling clay. Personal Greenware Takeaway
At the end of this two-day session, each attendee can select one or two greenware (unfired) pieces to take home.
