SHARJAH, UAE, November 3rd, 2026, As part of its efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships and expand cooperation with global companies, Sharjah Asset Management, the exinvestment arm of the Government of Sharjah, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MELT Global to strengthen collaboration and explore new opportunities that support the shared priorities and objectives of both parties. The agreement reflects Sharjah’s appeal as an investment destination and reinforces its position as an economic hub offering an integrated business environment that supports the establishment, growth and regional expansion of businesses.

The MoU was signed by H.E. Dr Waleed Al Sayegh, Chief Executive Officer of Sharjah Asset Management, and Steve Harvey, Owner and Founder of MELT Global, in the presence of representatives from both parties.

The MoU outlines MELT Global’s plans to relocate its regional headquarters to Thara, the latest development owned by Sharjah Asset Management in the emirate. This step reflects both parties’ commitment to expanding their cooperation and capitalising on available opportunities and potential, supporting their future ambitions and opening new avenues for collaboration.

The move also reflects MELT Global’s confidence in Sharjah’s competitive advantages, including its attractive investment environment, advanced infrastructure, and integrated operational capabilities and logistics services, which cater to businesses’ needs, enhance operational efficiency and support their expansion.

H.E. Dr Waleed Al Sayegh said: “At Sharjah Asset Management, our investment vision is centred on developing assets and enhancing their ability to attract economic activities and strategic partnerships, creating new growth opportunities and maximising the value of our projects. We are also committed to building high-quality partnerships that attract expertise, open new avenues for cooperation and foster integration across different sectors.

“We welcome this partnership with MELT Global and look forward to its presence at Thara adding value to the business ecosystem. We believe this MoU will create new opportunities for collaboration and the development of joint initiatives that fulfil both parties’ ambitions and support sustainable growth. This aligns with our vision of developing sustainable investments that contribute to diversifying Sharjah’s economy and strengthening its presence across the business, media and creative industries.”

The MoU reflects both parties’ commitment to building a sustainable collaborative relationship, leveraging their respective expertise and capabilities, and exploring strategic opportunities to develop joint areas of work and initiatives that deliver added value to both sides. It also forms part of their broader efforts to strengthen effective partnerships and maximise synergies, supporting further development and growth opportunities while deepening cooperation across areas of mutual interest.

MELT Global’s decision to choose Sharjah reflects the emirate’s strong economic and investment fundamentals, which reinforce its position as a centre for business and investment. This is underpinned by the diversity of its economic sectors, the development of its infrastructure and operational capabilities, as well as the availability of logistics services and business support solutions.

Sharjah also offers an environment that enables companies to capitalise on available opportunities, build relationships and establish partnerships that support the development of their activities and strengthen their presence in regional markets. Together, these advantages make the emirate an attractive destination for global companies seeking to establish operations and expand their business from Sharjah.

The selection of Thara to host MELT Global’s regional headquarters reflects the project’s ability to provide a business-friendly environment, supported by integrated facilities, services and operational capabilities. The company’s presence at Thara will also contribute to diversifying the range of activities hosted by the development, while creating opportunities for engagement and collaboration with organisations and institutions operating across the emirate and the wider region.

The MoU underscores both parties’ commitment to continuing to build sustainable strategic partnerships, leverage complementary expertise and capabilities, and explore new avenues for cooperation. This will contribute to creating added value for both parties, supporting development and growth, and further strengthening Sharjah’s position as an attractive destination for investment and business.

Made By WiFi Publishes a Free Year-End Guide to Help Offices Check Their WiFi Before Budgets Are Set

Published

on

The six-step guide takes office managers and IT leads through a coverage, equipment and security audit, a site survey, and a budget request.

Long Island City, New York, United States, 3rd Nov 2026 – Made By WiFi, an enterprise wireless and event WiFi company, today published a free six-step guide that helps office managers, IT leads and operations teams review their office WiFi while budgets for the coming year are being planned.

Office WiFi is easy to ignore until it fails, but budget season is when it is easiest to fund. A written list of what is actually wrong, such as a conference room that drops calls or an access point that has been running since before the last office move, carries far more weight in a budget request than a general complaint that the network is slow.

The guide, “Year-End WiFi Checklist for Your Office,” breaks the review into six steps. The first four are a self-audit that a small office can complete in an afternoon: walking the space to note where the signal fails, taking stock of equipment and WiFi standards, checking security and guest access, and finding out who owns and monitors the network. Step five is a wireless site survey, which turns those observations into measurements. Step six puts the findings into a budget request.

The guide also explains why timing matters. Once a budget is set, new spending has to be justified against items already approved. A survey, a written recommendation, approval and installation each take time. And equipment bought without a survey tends to leave some rooms with too many access points and others with too few.

A site survey from Made By WiFi measures signal strength, coverage and interference, and produces a written report with coverage heatmaps, recommended access point positions and an equipment specification. The report is delivered in an industry-standard format and can be taken to any installer. Surveys are done on site in New York and New Jersey and remotely for businesses anywhere in the country. Businesses that are not ready for a survey can use Made By WiFi’s wireless network consulting for an independent view on what to do next.

UPDF 3.0 Launches a Unified AI PDF Workflow to Create, Edit, and Sign

Published

on

Major update connects PDF creation, editing, eSign management, agreement tracking, and AI-powered document understanding in one platform.

Developed by Superace, UPDF today announced UPDF 3.0, a major product update that expands the AI PDF editor into a complete document workflow for creating, editing, sending, signing, tracking, and understanding PDFs. The release brings core PDF tools, electronic signatures, agreement management, and AI assistance into one connected platform.

Built around the positioning “The AI PDF Editor to Create, Edit, and Sign,” UPDF 3.0 addresses a common gap in document software: preparing a PDF and completing the process around it often require separate applications. The new version connects those stages so users can move from an initial scan or draft to a completed agreement without rebuilding the workflow elsewhere.

A Complete Workflow From Creation to Completion

UPDF 3.0 organizes document work around eight connected stages: scan or create, edit, convert, organize, send, sign, track, and manage. Users can create or import a document, update text and images, convert file formats, and arrange pages before moving directly into an eSign workflow.

This approach extends the role of a PDF editor beyond file preparation. Instead of ending when a document is ready, UPDF 3.0 continues through delivery, signature collection, status tracking, and agreement management. The workflow is designed to keep the document, its recipients, and its progress in the same working environment.

eSign Becomes Part of the PDF Process

The integrated eSign tools cover the main stages of an agreement. Users can prepare or scan a file, define recipients and signing order, place signature, date, text, and attachment fields, and then send the document for signature.

After sending, the agreement can be tracked as pending, completed, declined, or draft. This gives individuals and teams a central view of work that would otherwise be followed through email messages and separate signing services. Certificate-based professional digital signatures remain a distinct workflow for use cases that require them.

AI Supports Document Understanding and Action

UPDF AI is integrated into the document workflow to help users understand content before taking the next step. Ask PDF can answer questions about an entire file, the current page, or a selected range. AI Actions can summarize, translate, and explain information from PDFs, text, and images.

Scenario Assistants support tasks involving academic papers, contracts, resumes, and financial documents, while custom tasks allow users to organize repeatable methods for classifying and processing information. A user can review a contract with AI, update the PDF, send it for signature, and monitor completion without moving the document between unrelated tools.

“UPDF 3.0 is more than a feature update; it changes how PDF work moves from creation to completion,” said Roc Lan, CEO of Superace. “By connecting PDF tools, eSign, and AI in one workflow, users can create, edit, sign, and manage documents with fewer disconnected steps.”

Designed for Professional Document Work

UPDF 3.0 is designed for professionals who regularly handle contracts, reports, forms, proof documents, and approvals. Small businesses and teams can use the connected signing workflow to send agreements and monitor progress, while multilingual and cross-border users can apply AI translation and document analysis to international files.

Students, researchers, and knowledge workers can also use the platform to read, organize, convert, summarize, and extract information from complex documents. The same core workflow applies across these use cases: prepare the file, understand its content, complete the required action, and track the result.

A Broader Direction for UPDF

With version 3.0, UPDF is positioning itself not only as a PDF editor, an eSign tool, or an AI assistant, but as a document productivity platform that connects all three. The release focuses on workflow continuity rather than adding isolated functions, with PDF preparation, agreement completion, and document intelligence operating as parts of the same process.

About UPDF

Developed by Superace, UPDF is an all-in-one PDF and document productivity solution for creating, editing, annotating, converting, organizing, securing, signing, and understanding PDFs. It supports individuals and organizations working with documents across professional, academic, and business scenarios.

Additional information about UPDF 3.0 is available on the official UPDF website. Product updates are published on YouTube, Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Science4you’s New Report Reveals How STEM Learning Toys Accelerate Children’s Cognitive Development

Findings from the “STEM Education Toys Report” show that playing with STEM toys boosts spatial skills and bridges the gender gap in tech motivation

United States, 3rd Nov 2026 —Science4you, a leading educational toy brand specializing in hands-on STEM/STEAM toys for children, today announced the publication of its comprehensive STEM Education Toys Report. The report’s findings include insights that playing with STEM learning toys positively affects kids’ cognitive development, hands-on learning, and the gender gap in tech. According to the report, Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) toys also help boost spatial skills and academic performance, potentially increasing future earning potential.

“Our approach is to make preparing today’s technology-driven world fun for kids,” explained Filipe Ramos, CEO of Science4you. “So, we are very gratified to see our strategy validated in the report’s data. STEM and STEAM toys are good for cognitive skills, but the report goes even further, showing that STEM enhances visual-spatial development, fosters social responsibility, and builds non-cognitive skills like persistence, resilience, and organization.” STEAM toys include arts principles in their design.

The report’s findings include:

  • STEM toys play a key role in cognitive development, boosting computational thinking (+39%), flexibility (+26%), memory (+19%), and inhibition (+11%).
  • STEM play reduces the gender gap in technology motivation. Girls’ interest in programming jumps 29% after just 20 minutes of play.
  • Parents confirm academic benefits, with 51.7% reporting meaningful improvements and 33% reporting major boosts in school performance.
  • Children who play with STEM toys are more likely to earn 116% higher income in future STEM occupations.

The company also announced the launch of STEAM Individual Kits Showcase, which is on sale for the holiday season. This lineup of interactive, hands-on STEAM kits is designed for young scientists and creators. Highlights include the Mystery Potions Kit, Perfumes Super Lab, Giant Robot Hand, Marker Factory, Gummy Sweets Lab, Egyptian Artefacts Dig Kit, Betabot Robot Building Kit, Chocolate Factory, Bath Bombs Making Kit, and Dinosaur Torch.
