Selkirk Copper Phase 2 Drill Program Returns High-Grade Intercepts At Minto North, Copper Keel, and Area 118

Published

on

The structural model and refined targeting methodology, combined with a focused infill drill program, are giving Selkirk the data needed to advance Feasibility Study work in the next phase of restart development at the Minto Project.

Canada, 22nd Oct 2026 – Global Stocks News – Sponsored content disseminated on behalf of Selkirk Copper Mines. On October 15, 2026, Selkirk Copper Mines (TSXV: SCMI) (FRA: IO20) (OTCQX: SKRKF) announced additional results from the Phase 2 drill program at the Minto Project in Yukon, Canada.

Sixteen months ago, Selkirk First Nation (SFN) purchased the former Minto Mine out of bankruptcy, then partnered with the Frank Giustra-backed Fiore Group to form Selkirk Copper Mines.

A September 2026 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) outlines a 13-year mine life at 4,100 tonnes per day (tpd), starting with underground mining, then adding two open pits later in the mine life.

The structural model and refined targeting methodology, combined with a focused infill drill program, are giving Selkirk the data needed to advance Feasibility Study work in the next phase of restart development at the Minto Project.

“These results, notably the high grade and thick intercepts at Minto North, Copper Keel, and Area 118, underpin our confidence in the continuity and grade within the zones of mineralization that will improve the quality of our updated mineral resource modeling,” stated Colin Joudrie, Selkirk President & CEO, in the October 15, 2026 press release.

“This increases the potential in our integrated mine planning efforts to deliver higher grade material to the mill, resulting in higher metal contained in concentrate. I look forward to continued positive results from the Phase 2 campaign over the next 8-10 weeks and another updated mineral resource estimate (MRE) in Q1 2027.”

2026 Phase 2 Drill Program

The Phase 2 drill program targeted 50,000 metres and focused on expansion, exploration, and infill drilling in key target areas. The geo team identified opportunities to complete additional metres while staying on schedule and on budget.

In the September 26, 2026 YouTube Crux Investor Interview below, Selkirk Copper CEO Colin Joudrie explains how a favourable PEA supports a fast-tracked restart plan for the Minto Project in the Yukon.

“We are Canada’s first publicly traded mining company with a majority equity interest held by a First Nation,” Joudrie told Crux Investor. “The Selkirk First Nation (SFN) own 18% of the company. They have put a great amount of trust in us. They want this mine to go into production. I’m comfortable that we are doing the right things, but I don’t want anyone to think it’s easy. We need to work at this key relationship, continually over the life of this operation and into the future.”

“We’ve been able to drill over 105,000 meters in the last 12 months on an asset that hasn’t seen a drill turn on it in four years. Selkirk Copper has a team of mine-builders that can get it done. The global copper market is short copper. It’s very short on the quality of copper concentrate we can produce, about 38% copper. That’s pretty rare.”

“We’re leveraging over $330 million of above-ground investment by prior operators,” continued Joudrie. “Our team is pleased with the results of the recent PEA. It has flagged things that we should improve on. That’s part of the study. But it’s given us full confidence that we can move forward with a 13-year mine life, which is the longest mine life this asset has ever had.”

“We’re happy with the PEA economics,” Scott Fulton, Selkirk VP of Engineering, confirmed to Guy Bennett, CEO of Global Stocks News (GSN). “Our engineers and mine planners have been working collaboratively throughout the PEA with a team of engineering consultants hired independently by The Selkirk First Nation.”

“This is a robust, complete and comprehensive review of all aspects of the mine design, processing plant and infrastructure engineering,” added Fulton. “All costs have been built up from first principles over the Capex, Opex and Susex periods. Certain pre-capex costs are not included in the PEA economic model. We estimate these costs to be about $20 million.”

Because of key operational and financial variables, the SCMI PEA baseline economics are conservative.  For instance, the headline Net Present Value (NPV) number (C$494 million) is based on a copper “planning price” of $5.00/lb.

At the current copper price of US$6.50/lb, the after-tax NPV more than doubles to C$1.023 billion. Consensus copper price projections indicate a long-term upward trend, driven by green energy electrification, AI data centre demand and mine-supply deficits. A hypothetical $1/lb increase to $7.50/lb adds another $362 million to the projected NPV.

“The PEA confirms that we have a pathway to put the Minto Mine back into production, with a low capital expenditure (capex),” added Fulton. “A 13-year mine plan is a good start. There is potential to the north and south of the Minto Mine that I believe could turn this into a multi-decade project.”

Note: readers are cautioned that the PEA is preliminary in nature and includes Inferred Mineral Resources that are considered too speculative geologically to have economic considerations applied that would enable these resources to be categorized as Mineral Reserves. There is no certainty that the projections in the PEA will be realized. Mineral Resources which are not Mineral Reserves do not have demonstrated economic viability.

As of October 14, 2026, 54,711 metres of drilling have been completed in 223 drill holes, representing 109% of the planned meterage. The drill program is nearing completion. All geological logging, core cutting, and sample shipping are expected to be complete by early November.

Technical aspects of this release have been reviewed, verified and approved by Leif Bailey, P.Geo., Director of Geoscience & Exploration of Selkirk Copper Mines Inc., who is a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 – Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.

Totalcare Dental and Dermal Adds Porcelain Veneers for Bondi Junction Patients

Published

on

Australia, 22nd Oct 2026 – Totalcare Dental and Dermal, an innovative dental and dermal practice in Bondi Junction, Sydney, has announced the availability of porcelain veneers for local patients. Porcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic, custom-made to cover the front surface of teeth.

The practice offers cosmetic dentistry treatments alongside general dentistry, orthodontics, dental implants and emergency care. It also provides teeth whitening and sedation dentistry. The information in this release is general in nature and is not a substitute for a dental assessment.

What Porcelain Veneers Involve

Veneers are made from medical-grade ceramic and are bonded to the teeth with a dental adhesive. The practice states that they are used to address chips, cracks, gaps and discolouration. Because they cover the visible surface of a tooth, they are often considered by patients who want to change the shape, size or colour of several front teeth at once.

The practice distinguishes porcelain veneers from composite veneers. Composite veneers are typically sculpted directly onto the tooth in a single visit, whereas porcelain veneers require more planning and multiple visits. The additional time reflects the fact that porcelain veneers are made to order from impressions of the patient’s teeth.

“Porcelain veneers are a cosmetic treatment that is planned carefully before any work begins,” said Ishara Goonewardene, Owner of Totalcare Dental and Dermal. “The first conversation is about what the patient would like to change and whether veneers are the right way to approach it.”

Stages of Treatment

Treatment begins with a consultation, in which the dentist discusses the patient’s goals and assesses whether veneers are suitable for their teeth. The practice describes this stage as consultation and planning.

The second stage is preparation. A small amount of enamel is removed from the front of the teeth so that the veneers can sit in place. Enamel does not regrow, so removing it is generally regarded as irreversible, which is one reason the decision is made after a full consultation rather than on the first visit.

In the third stage, impressions of the prepared teeth are taken and used to create veneers that match the shape and size of the patient’s teeth. The final stage is bonding, in which each veneer is attached to its tooth.

Suitability and Aftercare

The practice states that porcelain veneers may suit people who want a natural-looking and aesthetic result, people who need to cover more significant imperfections or damage, and people who prefer an option that requires little maintenance. Whether they suit an individual patient depends on the condition of the teeth and gums, which the dentist assesses at the consultation.

Aftercare is straightforward. The practice advises regular brushing and flossing and avoiding excessive force, such as biting on hard objects. Routine check-ups with a dentist allow the condition of the veneers and the surrounding teeth to be reviewed. Veneers can wear over time, as natural teeth do.

A dentist may recommend other options where veneers are not suitable, such as teeth whitening for discolouration or orthodontic treatment for alignment. The practice offers both, so alternatives can be discussed at the same appointment as the veneer consultation. Patients who feel anxious about dental work can also ask about sedation dentistry, which the practice provides.

Looking Ahead

The practice is located at Shop 3, Ground Level, 1 Spring Street in Bondi Junction and is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The announcement forms part of its wider cosmetic and general dental services.

“Patients considering veneers benefit from having the steps and the alternatives explained before they decide,” Goonewardene said. “Totalcare Dental and Dermal expects to continue offering consultations for patients who would like to understand their cosmetic dental options.”

Specialty Coffee Boom Puts Seoul Coffee Scene on the Global Map

Published

on

ACR (Alegria Coffee Roasters) is a Seoul, South Korea-based specialty coffee brand founded in 2011. The company operates five directly run stores in Seoul’s Gwanghwamun and Pangyo Techno Valley areas, roasts under HACCP food-safety certification, and sources beans it says rank in the top 10 percent of available quality through annual origin visits. ACR opened its first overseas location in Kuwait in 2025 and has been selected to join the Roaster Village program at World of Coffee Tokyo 2027. More information: www.acrkorea.com / Instagram @acr_korea . A decade of quality-driven growth has turned Seoul into one of the world’s most closely watched coffee cities — and local roasters like ACR are starting to take that reputation abroad.

SEOUL, South Korea, 22nd Oct 2026 – Over the past decade, Seoul’s coffee scene has quietly built an international reputation. Specialty roasteries once known mainly to local enthusiasts are increasingly cited by coffee professionals and travelers abroad as some of the most interesting in the world, as Korean brands push beyond single-origin sourcing and competition-level cupping scores into export and overseas retail.

Among them is ACR (Alegria Coffee Roasters), a Seoul-based specialty coffee brand that has operated since 2011. The company sources what it describes as beans in the top 10 percent of available quality, with staff holding Q-grader certification — the industry’s standard credential for professional coffee tasters — who have served as judges at international coffee auctions including the Ecuador Farmers Collection and Best of Yemen. ACR said its team travels to origin countries each year to select beans directly from producers, and its roasting operation holds HACCP food-safety certification.

ACR runs five directly operated stores in Seoul — two in the Gwanghwamun area and three in the Pangyo Techno Valley district — staffed entirely by full-time, professionally trained baristas. The company said its stores served roughly 300,000 cups of coffee in the first half of 2026 alone, reflecting the broader growth of Seoul’s specialty coffee market. Industry watchers frequently mention ACR in the same breath as other well-known Seoul-based specialty roasters such as Momos Coffee, Coffee Libre, Fritz Coffee and Bean Brothers.

ACR’s growth has extended beyond Korea. According to local media reports, the company opened its first store in Kuwait in March 2025 under a master franchise agreement with a Middle Eastern holding company that also operates the burger brand Thinnies, alongside construction, interior and marketing businesses. ACR has said it aims to grow to more than 20 locations across the Middle East and North Africa over the next five years, becoming, by its own account, the first Korean specialty coffee brand to enter the region.

The company has also been selected to take part in the Roaster Village program at World of Coffee Tokyo, scheduled for April 28-May 1, 2027, at Tokyo Big Sight, where it plans to present its coffee to an international trade audience as one of a small number of roasteries representing Korea.

“Seoul’s specialty coffee scene has changed enormously over the past ten years, and we’re starting to see that recognition translate into opportunities overseas,” said Giyong Yoo, CEO of ACR. “Kuwait was our first step outside Korea, and we’re hearing growing interest from partners in other markets who want to bring ACR to their own countries.”

ACR said it plans to continue expanding its presence at international trade events and through overseas retail partnerships in the coming year, alongside its five Seoul stores and online sales through its direct-to-consumer channels.

Emergency Dentist Perth Helps Patients With Urgent Dental Care

Published

on

WA 6060, Yokine, Australia, 22nd Oct 2026 – Emergency Dentist Perth, a pioneering urgent dental care provider based in Yokine, has announced details of the urgent dental care it provides to patients across Perth. The clinic treats toothache, broken or chipped teeth, knocked-out teeth and infections, and is open seven days a week.

The clinic is led by Dr Anand Ponnusamy, Principal Dentist, and operates from Shop 6/201 Flinders Street in Yokine. It offers general and emergency dental services to patients who need to be seen urgently, as well as to those who need routine care. The information in this release is general in nature and is not a substitute for a dental assessment.

What the Clinic Treats

The clinic lists a range of urgent problems that it treats. These include toothache and pain relief, broken or chipped teeth, knocked-out teeth, emergency extractions, and infections, including abscess drainage and antibiotics where appropriate. It also lists wisdom tooth pain, pulpitis and gum swelling among the problems that patients present with.

Dental emergencies tend to occur outside normal working hours, and many patients are unsure whether a problem can wait until the next available appointment. Severe pain, swelling, a knocked-out tooth or a broken tooth are generally reasons to seek care promptly, and the clinic encourages patients to call when in doubt.

“Patients often phone when they are in pain and are not sure what to do next,” said Dr Ponnusamy. “The first step is to find out what has happened, and that can usually be done over the phone before the patient arrives.”

What Happens at an Urgent Visit

The clinic describes a three-step process for urgent visits. The first is a careful assessment, which may include X-rays or other scans to find the source of the problem. The second is a personalised treatment plan, which the dentist decides with the patient. The third applies only where needed, and involves a referral to a specialist if the problem calls for more specialised care.

The clinic states that it aims to relieve pain and stabilise the tooth first, with any further treatment discussed once the immediate problem has been addressed. Where a tooth has been damaged, the type of treatment depends on how much of the tooth remains and on the health of the surrounding gum and bone.

Booking and Access

The clinic is open seven days a week, with evening appointments available on most days. Patients can phone the clinic, book online through HealthEngine or send a message through the contact form on its website. Calling ahead allows the team to prepare for the visit and to advise on what to do in the meantime.

The clinic’s website also provides guidance on what to do before reaching the clinic, with separate information for common situations such as a broken tooth or a knocked-out tooth. Patients are encouraged to seek advice from a dentist rather than rely on general information alone.

Patients are advised to mention any medical conditions and the medications they take when they call or arrive, because this information helps the dentist plan treatment. Payment options through Afterpay, Zip Pay and Zip Money are listed on the clinic’s website.

Looking Ahead

The announcement forms part of the clinic’s wider dental services for patients in Perth, including those who live near Yokine and in the surrounding northern suburbs. Dr Ponnusamy is also the Principal Dentist at Radiant Smiles Dental Care, which operates from the same address.

“The aim is to make it straightforward for a patient in pain to reach a dentist and to understand what will happen when they arrive,” Dr Ponnusamy said. “The clinic expects to continue offering urgent appointments throughout the week as demand requires.”
