Silentbox Takes Acoustic Booths into the Space-as-a-Service (SPaaS) Era

Published

on

Acoustic booth manufacturer Silentbox is applying the Space-as-a-Service (SPaaS) model to coworking spaces and business centres.

Warsaw, Poland – 29/09/2026 – (SeaPRwire) – Silentbox, a European manufacturer of acoustic booths, has announced an investment in Space-as-a-Service (SPaaS), turning its acoustic booths into bookable, pay-per-use spaces for calls, meetings and focused work in shared and public locations. The model is already operating commercially at a shopping centre in Lisbon, where Silentbox booths average 78% occupancy and more than 500 bookings per month, with a user rating of 4.8 out of 5.

Under the SPaaS model, an acoustic booth is no longer permanently assigned to a single company or team. Instead, it becomes a shared, bookable resource that can be used throughout the day for calls, meetings, focused work or confidential conversations. Users book and pay for the booth when they need it, while coworking spaces, business centres and other location owners can generate additional revenue from existing floor space.

Silentbox Cloud provides the digital infrastructure for booking, payment, access and workspace management. The platform supports the SPaaS model, enabling location owners to offer acoustic booths as bookable spaces without permanently allocating them to individual users or companies.

Space-as-a-Service (SPaaS)

Space-as-a-Service brings the principle of paying for access rather than ownership to the workplace market. Instead of permanently allocating space to a single company or team, shared spaces can be made available to different users according to their needs.

Silentbox applies this model to acoustic booths, turning a unit of workplace infrastructure into a shared, bookable resource. For shopping centres, airports, business centres, coworking spaces and offices, this creates an opportunity to offer additional bookable space without permanently allocating it to individual users — while generating additional revenue from existing floor space.

European Market Position

Founded in 2019, Silentbox is a European manufacturer of acoustic booths, with more than 500 acoustic booths installed across 30+ countries and 92 cities.

Silentbox designs and manufactures its booths in-house, combining patented designs with certified acoustic performance. Its Premium line has been laboratory-tested according to ISO 11957 and ISO 23351-1, with sound insulation of up to 35 dB, depending on the model and configuration.

Investment and Expansion

The investment marks Silentbox’s expansion from manufacturing acoustic infrastructure into Space-as-a-Service, creating a new business model around bookable acoustic booths. The company plans to expand its SPaaS network across European and international markets, targeting offices, shopping centres, airports, business centres and coworking spaces.

“Space-as-a-Service changes how acoustic workspace can be accessed. Instead of being permanently assigned to one company or team, an acoustic booth can be made available to different users throughout the day. We see an opportunity to make acoustic infrastructure more flexible and accessible while giving location owners a new way to use their existing floor space.” — Svyatoslav Serbin, Co-Founder of Silentbox

Esteban Merlo Explores the Business Behind Real Estate Development

Published

on

Miami-based real estate developer and author Esteban Merlo highlights the importance of financial planning, market intelligence, and strategic decision-making in building sustainable real estate projects.

Miami, Florida, United States, 30th Sep 2026 — Real estate development involves much more than acquiring land and constructing buildings. For real estate developer, business consultant, and author Esteban Merlo, understanding the business behind a development project is a fundamental part of determining its long-term viability.

Based in Miami, Merlo focuses on the relationship between real estate development, investment strategy, financial planning, and risk management. His approach emphasizes evaluating business opportunities before committing substantial financial resources.

Esteban Merlo Real Estate Developer

Real Estate Development as a Business Strategy

A development project begins with a business opportunity, but transforming that opportunity into a viable investment requires careful analysis.

Market demand, acquisition costs, financing conditions, construction expenses, and projected returns are interconnected variables that influence a project’s financial performance.

Merlo advocates an approach that considers these factors together rather than treating construction, financing, and business planning as separate activities.

This perspective is particularly relevant in an environment where changing interest rates, rising construction expenses, and evolving consumer expectations can significantly influence development decisions.

Connecting Financial Planning With Development

An important component of real estate development is aligning a project’s capital structure with its business objectives.

Developers must consider financing alternatives, investment timelines, financial exposure, and potential changes in market conditions.

Strategic financial planning can help identify vulnerabilities before they become expensive problems.

For Merlo, this connection between financial analysis and business strategy is central to understanding how real estate opportunities should be evaluated.

Sharing Knowledge Through Books

Beyond his professional focus on real estate development, Esteban Merlo has documented his approach through two books: La Ruta del Desarrollador Inmobiliario and The Real Estate Developer’s Journey.

These publications explore the strategic considerations involved in planning and evaluating real estate projects.

Through his writing, Merlo addresses subjects that extend beyond construction, including leadership, investment planning, risk management, and decision-making.

His publications provide an additional resource for entrepreneurs and real estate professionals interested in understanding the business considerations behind property development.

An International Perspective

Operating from Miami, Merlo brings an international perspective to his professional work and publications.

His content addresses principles applicable across different real estate markets, including the importance of understanding local regulations, economic conditions, financing alternatives, and investment objectives.

As real estate markets evolve, Merlo continues to develop educational content around the relationship between business strategy and property development.

His central message reflects an essential principle of real estate investing: successful development requires understanding not only what can be built, but also whether a project makes financial and strategic sense.

Saiyan Electric Urges Downey Homeowners to Check Kitchen and Bathroom Outlets for GFCI Compliance

Published

on

Downey, California, United States, 30th Sep 2026 –  Saiyan Electric, a licensed electrical contractor based in Downey, is urging homeowners across the city to check whether their kitchen, bathroom, garage, and outdoor outlets are protected by GFCI technology after identifying missing protection during recent home inspections.

Older Downey Homes May Be Missing GFCI Protection

According to company founder Michael Velasquez, some of the electrical safety inspections Saiyan Electric performs in Downey turn up outlets near water sources, kitchen counters, bathroom sinks, and garages that were never updated to include ground-fault circuit interrupter, or GFCI, protection.

“GFCI outlets aren’t a new technology, but a lot of Downey homes were built or last rewired before they became standard code,” said Michael Velasquez, founder of Saiyan Electric. “It’s one of the more overlooked safety gaps we find, and it’s also one of the more affordable ones to fix.”

Why GFCI Protection Matters Around Water

GFCI outlets are designed to cut power within a fraction of a second if they detect an unsafe current imbalance, a safeguard that standard outlets don’t provide. Velasquez noted that outlets near sinks, countertops, garages, and outdoor areas are especially important to check because of the potential for contact between electricity and water.

GFCI Upgrades Can Address a Common Safety Gap

Saiyan Electric offers GFCI outlet upgrades as part of its broader electrical troubleshooting and inspection services. The company encourages homeowners who haven’t had an electrical inspection in several years to schedule one. For homes where inspections reveal broader electrical issues, the company also offers electrical panel upgrades.

All work is backed by a 3-year warranty on parts and labor, performed by background-checked technicians, and priced upfront before work begins. First-time customers can take $50 off their first service call; offer restrictions apply.

Fall Home Projects Offer a Chance to Check Electrical Safety

Fall home projects offer homeowners an opportunity to review electrical safety, whether or not a larger renovation is planned. Velasquez recommends that homeowners use planned maintenance or improvement projects as an opportunity to identify electrical issues before they become more significant problems.

About Saiyan Electric

Saiyan Electric is a licensed electrical contractor founded by Michael Velasquez, serving residential and commercial properties throughout Downey, Bellflower, Lakewood, Norwalk, South Gate, and surrounding LA County communities. PR Tool for Founders PressPitch AI Opens Its Media Coverage Playbook

Published

PressPitch AI, the PR tool for founders, is opening the media playbook founder Zach Schleien used to earn coverage in major media outlets, helping founders earn real press without an agency retainer.

New York, United States, 30th Sep 2026 – PR tool for founders PressPitch AI today opened the media playbook its founder Zach Schleien used to earn coverage in major media outlets for his video speed-dating startup Filteroff, which was later acquired.

PR Tool for Founders PressPitch AI Opens Its Media Coverage Playbook

PressPitch AI combines AI-assisted journalist research with human editorial judgment so founders can earn real press, podcast interviews, and speaking gigs without a $10,000-a-month agency retainer.

“Founders don’t need a retainer. They need a sharp pitch and the right journalist,” said Schleien. “Everything we put out is true and checkable. Real press beats manufactured authority every time, and Google’s AI is getting better at telling the difference.”

Schleien documents his own media experiments publicly, showing founders exactly how press coverage, search rankings and AI answers connect.

Before PressPitch AI, Schleien raised $2.4 million, led two companies to exits, and secured coverage in more than 200 outlets without hiring an agency. PressPitch AI packages that process for founders: finding the reporters who actually cover their space, shaping a newsworthy angle, and writing pitches that get replies.

“Most founders think press is about who you know,” said Schleien. “It’s really about telling a true story to the right person at the right time. That’s a skill, and it can be taught.”
