Explora Books Showcases the Setterington Family Series at the 2026 Beijing International Book Fair

Published

on

Explora Books will present the Setterington Family series by Donna Gene Stankey and co-author Ramona Hammel at the 2026 Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF), held June 17–21 at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. The series offers a multi-volume portrayal of American pioneer life and family legacy across generations.

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, 21st May 2026 – Rate opens on a bitter December night in 1893 at the Setterington homestead near Elsie, Michigan, where Millie, a Canadian-born farmer, waits through the cold for the birth of a son his wife Mina neither wants nor welcomes. From this quietly charged opening, Donna Gene Stankey builds an intimate portrait of rural Midwestern life: its relentless labor, marital tensions, and a father’s stubborn hope that something of himself will endure into the next generation. Grounded in decades of family history and careful research, Rate functions as both a personal family chronicle and a vivid record of settler life on the American frontier.

The Lad Called Rate follows Ralph as he comes into his own through the daily work of the farm—its animals, seasons, and unrelenting demands—in a coming-of-age story rooted in heritage and belonging. Stankey and Hammel render his gradual self-discovery with patience and warmth, tracing a young man finding his footing in a world that asks everything of him.

The Mischief Maker sees Rate trade the open fields for the streets of Elsie, with his dog Bruno never far behind. The pull between his rural upbringing and town life creates both tension and tenderness, as Rate carries the instincts and loyalties of a farm boy into an unfamiliar world. Stankey and Hammel handle this transitional chapter of his life with precision and care.

Forever a Farmer brings the saga to its conclusion, with Rate facing the full cost of keeping a family farm alive across generations. It is a story about what it means to inherit not only land, but responsibility—and about the quiet determination of those who choose to stay when leaving would be easier.

Stankey was herself a Setterington—the third generation to farm the land outside Elsie, Michigan, which she spent decades documenting. Her co-author and daughter, Ramona Hammel, was shaped by the same rural inheritance: first on her father’s farm in Wayland, Michigan, and later on her husband’s farm near Hudson. Following Donna’s passing, Ramona has carried their shared work forward, ensuring the Setterington story reaches the readers it deserves.

Readers and industry professionals attending the 2026 Beijing International Book Fair are encouraged to visit the Explora Books exhibit booth 5A.B14 at the CNCC in Beijing. Attendees will have the opportunity to discover the complete Setterington Family series, explore special event features, and connect with the authors’ legacy in person.

All four books are available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other major book retailers.

Arbitflow Expands Professional Crypto Trading Access Through Managed Strategies

Published

on

Arbitflow has expanded access to managed crypto trading through a platform built around professional traders and user-directed capital allocation. The service allows users to select traders, distribute funds across different strategies, and follow performance without managing every trade themselves. Arbitflow targets users who want market exposure but prefer not to monitor charts or execute trades throughout the day. Instead, selected professionals handle position management while users retain control over how capital is distributed.

Auckland, New Zealand, 16th Sep 2026 – Arbitflow allows users to allocate funds to individual professional traders rather than rely on a single trading model. Capital can also be allocated across several strategies, giving users more flexibility in structuring their managed exposure.

Each trader follows their own approach when managing positions through the platform. Users can review available trading histories and performance information before deciding where to allocate capital.

The model allows users to adjust how much capital each trader receives. This structure gives users the option to build a managed setup around several professionals instead of concentrating funds in one strategy. Arbitflow also keeps the starting requirement at $25. The entry level gives users access to professional crypto trading without requiring a large initial allocation.

Trader Records and Live Trading Support User Oversight

Arbitflow applies a screening process before traders can manage capital through the platform. Candidates complete identity verification, professional-history checks, and simulated skills testing before approval.

After traders join, the platform continues monitoring their performance and trading activity. These records become part of the information users can review when comparing available professionals.

Live Trading provides another layer of visibility by displaying trader performance, trading history, and most completed trades. Users can follow the activity without taking over the daily execution process themselves.

This setup separates user oversight from day-to-day trade management. Users decide which traders receive capital, while approved professionals remain responsible for managing positions under their selected strategies.

Spot Execution and AI Support Sit Behind the Service

Arbitflow conducts trading exclusively through spot markets and does not use leverage or margin. Traders work with allocated funds rather than borrowing capital to increase position sizes. The structure removes leverage-driven liquidation risk from the service, although normal cryptocurrency market risk remains. Digital asset prices can still decline, reducing the value of managed allocations.

Arbitflow also uses proprietary AI-supported analysis within its trading infrastructure. The technology processes market conditions, news, trader behavior, performance data, and potential risk factors. Professional traders use that information as part of their research and monitoring process. Final trading decisions remain with the professionals managing each strategy.

Arbitflow began market research and strategy development in 2023 before building its current AI infrastructure. The technology was developed around existing trading workflows rather than a fully automated execution model.

About Arbitflow

Arbitflow is an AI-supported managed crypto trading platform that connects users with professional traders through a spot-only trading model. The platform combines human-led trade execution with proprietary AI analysis, trader screening, performance monitoring, and Live Trading functionality. Users can allocate capital across multiple traders and strategies while retaining control over how their funds are distributed.  For more details, visit https://arbitflow.net/

Apateon Press Publishes The Irish Telegram Boy by Thomas A. McCluskey

Published

A Dublin childhood, decades of hidden addiction, and a hard-won recovery: a new memoir traces one man’s journey from a Dublin tenement to sobriety on Long Island

NEW YORK—September 16, 2026—Apateon Press today announced the publication of The Irish Telegram Boy: A Memoir by Thomas A. McCluskey. The book tells the story of a boy raised to believe he was, in his family’s words, a “good-for-nothing,” and the decades-long journey that led him to prove otherwise.

Born into poverty in a Dublin tenement in 1944, McCluskey grew up in a large, quarrelsome Irish Catholic household marked by an absent father, a mother unable to show him warmth, and the daily indignities of poverty. At sixteen, he emigrated alone to New York, hoping for a fresh start. Instead, the wounds of his childhood followed him through difficult jobs, a failed first marriage, a second marriage and fatherhood, and years of escalating alcoholism. The memoir opens at his lowest point, lying paralyzed at the bottom of his basement stairs after a night of drinking, his body failing from decades of heavy smoking and drinking, and a near-fatal accident the next day that finally convinced him something had to change.

“I spent most of my life believing I was the family screwup and trying to prove I wasn’t,” said McCluskey. “Writing this book meant going back into rooms I had spent decades trying to forget, like the tenement in Dublin and the basement on Long Island, but then, on to the church basements where I finally got sober. I want readers who are still fighting their own version of that fight to know it is possible to come out the other side.”

The Irish Telegram Boy moves from Dublin tenements to the streets of Queens, from a first marriage that collapses under the weight of drinking and financial strain to a second marriage and family life that mask a worsening addiction. Through therapy, Alcoholics Anonymous, and a hard-won faith, McCluskey confronts his past, breaks a cycle of generational pain, and finds what he calls his own voice. Told in plainspoken, scene-driven prose, the book sits in the tradition of the Irish-immigrant addiction-and-recovery memoir, with McCluskey’s sobriety and self-understanding as its destination.

“The Irish Telegram Boy is an unsparing, deeply human account of what it takes to break a cycle of addiction that runs through generations,” said Hugh Taylor, President of Apateon Press. “Thomas doesn’t spare himself in these pages, and that honesty is exactly what makes his recovery so believable and so earned.”

The Irish Telegram Boy: A Memoir (ISBN 979-8-9973388-2-4) is now available on Amazon.com.

MEXC July–August Security Report: 38.66M USDT in Risk Funds Intercepted, Futures Insurance Fund Hits 792M USDT

Published

on

Mutsamudu, Comoros, September 16th, 2026, Chainwire

MEXC, a pioneer in 0-fee digital asset trading, has released its July–August 2026 security report. The report shows that MEXC successfully intercepted all 215 reports involving risk-related funds during the period, covering approximately 38.66 million USDT. The total balance of the Futures Insurance Fund rose to 792 million USDT. Meanwhile, the reserve ratios for BTC, ETH, USDT, and USDC all remained above 100%.

In July and August 2026, the crypto industry recorded 184 security incidents, with reported losses totaling approximately $535 million. Phishing and fraud incidents, together with endpoint and supply-chain security incidents, accounted for approximately 48% of the total. At the same time, a growing number of attackers are using AI to auto-generate phishing content and help write malware, increasing the efficiency of their attacks. As attack methods become more diverse, promptly identifying and intercepting risk-related funds and strengthening cross-platform investigation have become increasingly important to reducing user losses.

All 215 Reports of Risk-Related Funds Successfully Intercepted, Covering 38.66 million USDT

In July and August, MEXC assisted with 215 reports involving externally stolen or fraud-related funds flowing into the platform. All 215 cases were successfully intercepted, covering 38,655,490 USDT. Of these cases, 42 involved assistances with judicial freezes. Compared with the previous reporting period, the number of successfully intercepted cases increased by approximately 2,971%, while the value of intercepted funds increased by approximately 12,646%.

In tracking and handling risk-related funds, MEXC shared suspicious addresses with major industry participants, assisted in identifying fund flows, and supported verification and freezing procedures under established joint-investigation and law-enforcement cooperation procedures.

Over 20,000 Risk-Related Accounts Identified and Restricted, With More Than 600,000 USDT in Misdirected Assets Returned

In account risk identification, MEXC identified and restricted 20,752 accounts associated with risk-related activities during the period, an increase of 118.03% from the previous reporting period. The platform identified 5,288 risk groups, up 20.35%. By region of origin, these groups were concentrated primarily in the Commonwealth of Independent States (1,803), Nigeria (1,099), and Indonesia (976).

For user asset recovery, MEXC manually processed 818 applications for the return of misdirected assets, returning the equivalent of 602,225 USDT, an increase of 75.31% from the previous reporting period.

Futures Insurance Fund Reaches 792 million USDT, Strengthening Protection Against Negative Balance Risk

As of September 1, 2026, the total balance of the MEXC Futures Insurance Fund reached 791,696,422 USDT, an increase of 5.44% from the previous reporting period.

The Futures Insurance Fund covers negative balances that may arise during liquidation, providing a risk buffer during extreme market conditions and helping reduce the likelihood of auto-deleveraging (ADL). When a liquidated position is closed at a price better than the bankruptcy price, the remaining funds are credited to the fund. Users can view the real-time balance on the MEXC Proof of Trust page.

Reserve Ratios for Four Major Assets Remain Above 100%, With BTC at Approximately 288%

According to the proof of reserves disclosed for this period, MEXC maintained reserve ratios above 100% for four major assets, as follows:

  • Bitcoin (BTC): reserve ratio of approximately 288%, with total wallet assets of 12,312.75 BTC against 4,282.20 BTC in user assets;
  • Ethereum (ETH): reserve ratio of approximately 113%, with total wallet assets of 66,227.79 ETH;
  • USDT: reserve ratio of approximately 115%, with total wallet assets of approximately 1.940 billion USDT;
  • USDC: reserve ratio of approximately 114%, with total wallet assets of approximately 194.85 million USDC.

The on-chain addresses corresponding to these reserve assets have been disclosed, allowing users to verify through the Merkle Tree whether their individual account balances were included in this proof of reserves.

As an additional layer of user asset protection, the MEXC Guardian Fund maintains a dual-reserve structure of USDT and BTC: USDT provides immediate liquidity support, while BTC serves as a long-term reserve asset across market cycles. MEXC plans to expand the fund from $100 million to $500 million, continuing to strengthen user asset protection. The relevant holding addresses are listed below:

Guardian Fund Wallet Addresses:

  • USDT: 0x469AfE803C54A36674C55231489Cf4b61da8c1bC
  • BTC: 1MDVjZdX8QD212pT8Z8EMP7DuFQHKqN3mx

MEXC CEO Vugar Usi said, “Trust is the true reserve currency of this industry. Protecting user assets means moving decisively the moment risk emerges, while giving users something they can verify for themselves, not just our word for it. We will continue to strengthen our ability to identify and intercept risk-related funds, deepen cooperation across platforms and with law enforcement, and help affected users recover their losses wherever possible. Our bi-monthly security reports are part of that commitment, allowing our security performance to be measured and tracked over time.”
