With the continuous development of the multi-chain ecosystem, the problem of data islands between different blockchains has become increasingly prominent, and cross-chain communication has become a core obstacle to the development of DeFi, RWA, chain games and other fields. In response to this pain point, Halviora has designed a relay architecture that does not require trust in a third party and has self-verification capabilities. Based on a modular design, this mechanism can adapt to mainstream blockchains such as Base, Solana, Polygon, etc., to achieve stable and high-frequency data transmission.
The technical advantages of Halviora’s cross-chain relay are mainly reflected in the following aspects:
Trust-minimized architecture: The relay node adopts an on-chain verification + off-chain signature mechanism to ensure that each cross-chain message is verified for validity without the need for a centralized bridge organization.
High-frequency synchronization capability: Combined with Halviora’s high-frequency consensus module, cross-chain relay can support second-level data reporting and confirmation, significantly reducing latency.
Module pluggable design: The protocol supports event structures, confirmation models and gas cost mechanisms that adapt to different chains, so developers can quickly integrate new chains without rewriting the protocol.
State-level finality guarantee: Messages in the relay process carry proof of the original chain state to ensure full context verification capabilities before triggering execution on the target chain.
Incentive and penalty mechanism: Relay nodes need to stake tokens to participate in relay tasks. Once errors or delays occur, the penalty mechanism will be triggered to ensure long-term stable operation of the system.
At present, the Halviora cross-chain relay mechanism has completed the integration test of the internal network, including delay and accuracy evaluation of bidirectional paths such as Base <-> Polygon and Solana <-> Base. In the future, it will also expand support for Arbitrum, zkSync, Optimism and other ecosystems.
The Halviora team said that cross-chain relay is a key component of its data infrastructure strategy, and will work with the subsequent data aggregation module (Aggregation Layer) and verifiable computing module (ZK Execution) to build a future-oriented distributed oracle system.
