The United Nations has established a domed colony on Mars, primarily to mine REEs, Rare Earth Elements. Three years later, a breakaway colony of communist nations establish a nearby competitive Martian domed colony. Due to limited resources on Mars, population growth is strictly limited and managed, with reproduction in both colonies being provided solely through test-tube surrogates. Three decades later, the fragile peace developing between the two colonies is shattered when a world war breaks out on Earth in this thrilling Romeo and Juliet story.
In addition to the novella, Mr. Langford’s book also includes five stories exploring different times and genres, including coming-of-age, espionage, historical fiction, adventure and romance.
