POSITIVE MIND-SET COACH, GINA DALLISON is sharing her ‘Shift’ moment in her life through a story entitled “THE UNIVERSAL GIFT”, which is one of the 25 inspiring and uplifting stories from ordinary people that have been carefully pulled together in this historic book.
As startling symptoms unfolded for Gina, it eventually led to a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis with a pessimistic outlook of “there was no cure, that her condition was likely to deteriorate and there was nothing that she could do about it”. After trying various treatments, Gina experienced an awakening and discovered that the grim prognosis was not necessarily accurate. A deep dive into her own subconscious programming allowed Gina to shift her perspectives and make a radical transition to how she was living her life.
Gina’s mantra following her experience is:
“It is not the situation that makes us feel bad, it is our perception of it… And we can change that.”
With this book project, she and her fellow authors share their knowledge, expertise and insights, which, they hope, will start empowering conversations. She promises that readers will enjoy reading this collection of 25 uplifting perspectives.

The inspiration for Shift was born from the challenging and historic situation of the last 18 months, and is the third in a series of similar collections of short, but incredible stories. This book shares the extreme challenges of ordinary people, both through lockdown and before.
Here is Gina’s Background:
Gina loves working with others who have been ‘gifted’ with a chronic illness, to help them see their challenges as such. She uses her simple ‘Get Honest’ formula which enables her clients to find the clarity, courage and confidence to make the changes necessary to live an amazing life despite any diagnosis. She is still very much a living, breathing example of her work and enjoys exploring outside the confines of societal norms to discover what else is possible. Outside of coaching, she is a mother to two teenage boys, a keen Toastmaster and loves walking with her friendly Labrador – Sophie.
